I also want to bring one other tidbit of info. r/therewasanattempt was geolocked sometime after this drama. If you were familiar with this drama you might be wondering why I didn't mention this event. Well to sum up, this event occured whilst I was working on this video so it caught me by surprise, and after looking into it, I wanted to pretty much strictly talk about the female drama and not the geolocking because the reasonings behind the geolocking are unrelated to the topic at hand.
The mods were completely power tripping. There are worst things women have been called and yet they decide to take the least offensive word to ban someone over
I was on the site when it happened and what a day it was. So many jumping on the guy and defending their use of the word "female". The most common defence seemed to be how the word isn't offensive within the context of how it was used. Meanwhile those arguing against them said the word was wrong due to the implied sexism it had. As a non-Westerner, using the word in normal conversation was often seen as sounding nerdy/unnescessaily verbose, so I too was in the camp of not getting why people were mad.
that's interesting how using female in your country/culture isn't considered harmful or weird in a negative way, but as you said, nerdy and weird in a way that sounds unneccessary.
after watching the video I still don't get it. what was so bad about what he said? if it was a guy, it wouldn't be out of place to say a "male's behind." i get that female has this certain connotation now with the weird, andrew tate adjacent side of the internet, but its not like he was calling her dumb. it felt like he just stumbled on the video, threw a quick caption up there and just uploaded it. mods were for sure power tripping.

This reminds me of a food subreddit where a redditor got banned for correcting the phrase “chicken burger”
or in other words, another typical day on reddit
That bolo subreddit was a menace, they had it coming. Ties are superior anyways.

These guys are the prime example why when you don't give someone a reality check, reality warps reaal quick.
Wow now i kinda want to see more hilarious powertrips from Mods. I think i saw something about a "Chicken Burger" incident in one of the comments?
Can’t believe a cowboy fashion sub was cut down in the crossfire
This is why 4chan hates reddit
leave it to a reddit mod to take what would otherwise be a funny slip of the tongue in everyday speech and make it a hate crime
Excellent video. I stumbled upon this randomly and was very surprised it didn’t have more views. Keep grinding man
thanks a lot! glad you enjoyed it :)
same here
and it also sums up the drama pretty well!
I can’t believe Reddit banned that word. Now how will pitch my idea of Iron Envelopes to the internet?
i was banned from there aswell, then again, i was actively trying to

Your laughing at the mods!
They're doing it for free and your laughing at them!
From what I understand, consensus was that 5slowmotionN was not a native English speaker.
