sir , but with the helps of lobes , we can diffrentiate between left and right lung right ?? and even due to caridac notch and fischers as left will have only 2 lobes ( i m in 11th and aiming for net so i may not be right but it will be really helpful if u clear my doubt )
Yes, from cardiac notch of anterior border, we can know it is left lung. Anterior border of right lung is thin and uninterrupted. But in some lungs cardiac notch may not be prominent, or similar indentation may be seen in right lung. Also, lobes and fissures can be variable. You will come to understand this once you actually see lung specimen. So reliable criteria are features like apex, base, borders and surfaces, to determine side of lung.
Sir why can't we determine the side by the number of fissures and lobes? Is there any case that people may have 3 lobe in their left lung and vice versa?plz help
No. of fissures and lobes may be variable... there might be 2 fissures and 3 lobes in left lung, and vice versa. So always determine side by borders, surfaces, apex and base... as demonstrated in the video... never by fissures or lobes.
Your anatomical positional of the organ is confusing sir.... in anatomical position do we hold the organ as if it is placed in our body? Ex:Anterior surface facing our anterior view
Wrong.. never determine side of lungs on basis of lobes... lobes are variable. Determine side by features like apex, base, borders and surfaces, and root.
Ok sir Sir can u please tell me one thing more sir In bdc there is given relation of medistinal surface of right and left lung So there is a relation that written .. At right- trachea at left - bracgiocephalic vein written sir if trachea bifurcate then it will go both side of lung na sir......
sir but on left side written here brachiocephalic vein and on opposite column trachea age trachea hai sir do dono colum right and left me trachea gonna chaiye tha

Why should we know the side of lungs as operation will be done on the body with lungs intact so why?
For passing Anatomy practical exam
😅😂
Thanks

👌
Is this the Right lung or the left lung ?
Right
Your anatomical positional of the organ is confusing sir.... in anatomical position do we hold the organ as if it is placed in our body? Ex:Anterior surface facing our anterior view
Yes
Side determination trick-
Right lung :- root appears in 'q' shape
Left lung; root of lung 'p" shape
We can tell by lobes also
Right have 2
Left have 3
@@sir_ap_cr but many teachers don't consider lobes to differentiate the lungs, as sometimes right lung also has 3 lobes
Wrong.. never determine side of lungs on basis of lobes... lobes are variable. Determine side by features like apex, base, borders and surfaces, and root.
Thank you sir ❤️
Sir aik confusion hai ap anterior border ko large kyo keh rhe jbki wo thin short hota hai
I haven't mentioned large... Ant border is thin, sharp well defined..
Listen carefully
Ok sir
Sir can u please tell me one thing more sir
In bdc there is given relation of medistinal surface of right and left lung
So there is a relation that written ..
At right- trachea at left - bracgiocephalic vein written sir if trachea bifurcate then it will go both side of lung na sir......
Trachea is in midline... so related with mediastinal surfaces of both lungs ...
sir but on left side written here brachiocephalic vein and on opposite column trachea age trachea hai sir do dono colum right and left me trachea gonna chaiye tha
Dude all my life s been lie lung ka shape ye hota h 🙄😳
