If you're an experienced strategy game player, you should totally get it~ There's a reason why Civilization is one of the most famous series of it's genre. If you're not... well, get it anyway~ It's a really great game.
Good day pal! Thanks for asking. One of the hardest aspect in this game is to contain one "impatience" as a player we tend to "end turn" asap so we could expect positive growth in our empire next turn (which often don't happen that way). Second hardest aspect is the learning curve, to understand everything it throws to you in order for you to run your empire efficiently; the production, growth, diplomatic, trade, religion, buildings, land and etc. Once you manage to get a grasp onto the 2 aspects, the game isn't that hard really let it be multiplayer or vs ai (except for difficulty greater than Immortal since ai literally cheating) The game is also addictive! For once I spent 8 hours+ just to fence off an invasion and won. Once you pulled it through man o man that feeling is amazing! And tired of course 🤭🤭🤭
Take it easy~ First thing to do is learn where and how to build your cities, if there's enough food, production, and maybe an ideal spot to build districts. Of course you can lower the difficulty so the other Civ won't be too much of a problem.
solar flar too is a big mess, can cripple your rocket with comet strike you can still win with rocket race, but solar flar will delay enough time for comet strike glass you
I remember this one time where I started a game and got hit with a drought that lasted 30 turns because Droughts are currently bugged (increases chance for the to trigger while one is in effect, instead of eliminating it). Having 1 population that long is a friggen nightmare.

Of course, the more the merrier from a player perspective, and besides, this is more a civilization planning game than a disaster management simulator, so yea. Originally they planned earthquakes, but implementing tectonic layer for maps required rewriting RMG from scratch, which took too long to do. And tsunamis don`t exist without eartquakes. As for plagues, Firaxis planned to implement city health and plagues mechanic as game mode in final DLC for New Frontier Pass. But COVID-19 pandemic broke out and they deemed too inethical to do same thing in Civ6, and we got odd zombie apocalypse mode.
That bloody hurricane looks really terrifying on screen and as for other stuff ... well shrakh me when it comes to comets. Let's hope Halley's Comet doesn't try to do that to us. LUL ski resort in the desert during the Desert Storm event. I can only imagine that the snow there was caused by the Chill, Avalanche, Ice-Mountain and Snowflake.

You literally feel as if your body can't keep up with the temperature and feel sick about it 😅 Yea, I know naza pretty quick to inform if they found out anything and I think chance are like 0.5% it gets real close to dangerous threat lvl on earth. I think the force of nature always finds it way. imagine you wash the toilet once in a awhile conducting genesis to all micro-organism races in that terrarium of yours after they thrived for years by their calendar (actually days for us) only then to reborn again until next genesis 🤭 Its proven Alien helps build pyramid so yea 🤣

I love how the tornadoes look but everything in this game is so god damn out of scale lol Like the biggest tornado in the group would actually be a perfect scale for an EF5 compared to the scale of the city centers/districts. But then you got the Colosseum right next door that reaches into the heavens for a crowd capacity of 500,000. Meanwhile, your units are all giants battling to protect the miniature people living in the empire.
Thanks for sharing. If the developer were to put every scale in real size ratio, you're going to scroll the game from day to night just to end a turn. I understand that nitpick, but still, the game scaling is completely fine. That's how a bird's eye view strategy game works.
I agree 100%. They should’ve integrated the wonders with the city sprawl (as in having the colosseum be surrounded with a few buildings) and adjusted the size accordingly.

They haven't done earthquake yet which is basically the same as tsunami, maybe in civ 7

River is most annoying. Even on 2 points(standart) it's way too often and can defy game winner.
But for an event as devastating as such, the animation is somehow smooth and pretty.
