In this video I am sharing my submission to the #bhmpatterndesigners challenge for 2024. This video is in collaboration with @SewNaturalDane . Please give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel!
*Side Note*
After closely studying the photos of this pattern on the Simplicity website, I did notice that the pocket on the top left leg does NOT have a flap on it! I had to zoom in to see that. So I was totally wrong. You only need 3 pocket flaps not 4. So embarrassing!
My mistake. It looked like all four of those pockets had flaps on the pattern envelope to me but online it is easier to see that they do not. The pattern piece and instructions were absolutely right. Sorry about that KnowMe Patterns and friends.

Thanks so much Sheree for the collaboration 😘. You are right,I'm not into bodysuits at all 😅. I totally understand about the weight of fabric you used but like you said perfect for lounging around in. I love a loose fitting hoodie as well😍😍. Love the video and your honesty as always. The whole pocket flap issue was interesting and it made me pause the video. The pattern looks as if the top right hand side pocket does not have a flap but I could be wrong.
😂 You are absolutely correct! I actually mentioned my mistake in the description section of the video. I was so embarrassed when I realized I made the mistake. On the paper pattern it looked like there was a flap to me. I had to go online and zoom in on the picture to see that the flap wasn’t there. 🤦🏾♀️. Aw well. Hopefully, they forgive me for my mistake.

Hey Zelda! Which dress pattern is it? What type of fabric did you use? Was the issue that it was just too big? If that’s the case, your idea about resizing it is great.
@@ShereeThomas30 Hi, it was Butterick 6804. I think it was just too big. I'm in the process of sizing it down now.
Everyone has their opinion, contrarily, to be so critical of someone design is to think one would design their own pattern and or look the pattern over before you purchase it. That’s my opinion. It really does nothing for my spirit.
I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy the video. Thank you for sharing your opinion. I actually did like the design of the pattern on the pattern cover, I just didn’t like the way my version turned out. I felt that my fabric choice didn’t work with the shapes that’s all. Sometimes I don’t know that something isn’t for me until I try it but I did mention several times that this pattern was cool and looked great in the chosen fabric of the designer. Thanks for watching
