I run one for a living. Mine is the bucyrus rh170 version. We also run a cat 6040 and 6060. I’ll take the rh170 over what cat has done to a great machine. Cat engineers have ruined this machine.
@Goofball5225 because if you work for cat you should want to talk to me. I have given my contact info to cat and still to this day they won’t have a dialogue. The 6040 and even worse the new 6060 are putting cat engineers inputs between the operator and the machine. Cat is proving that they don’t trust operators to run the machine. The operator assist and plc are set to protect the machine and kill production. Cat is more concerned with the future automation of the machine. The new design right down to the cab is just copy others instead of innovating. If anyone from cat wants to follow me for a rotation I’m sure they could. I’d love a cat rep in the cab for a week
