I remember going to Disney Land when my 1st baby was 8 wks old. I took him on pirates of the Caribbean. I took all 3 of mine as babies on that ride. It was so much fun. That also was a very long time ago. That 8 wk old baby is now 16 years old and driving. They do grow up so very quickly.
Yes, Tim, NYC goes all out for Christmas. Giant trees at Rockefeller Plaza and Wall Street, Holiday window displays in most shops, beautiful decorations on many buildings in Manhattan and over-the-top, nearly tacky decorations in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. It's even more perfect while it is lightly snowing because the streets glisten and the lights sparkle at night.
I'm always impressed with Tim's ability to stay grounded and soak up time with fellow travelers, historians, etc. I can only imagine when you set sail every day the amount of time spent entertaining us who meet you in person and trying to complete a video. You guys have been our go to for years and we genuinely appreciate all you do! Thanks for sharing that awesome story with us!

I originally discovered Tim while watching construction videos for Kong: Skull Island. Seeing a return to that form with the new Jurassic Park construction is very cool. I'm definitely going to watch this construction every step of the way with Tim!
I use to work at IOA and Green Eggs was only open in the summer back but we had the best chicken tenders in the park. Also, Tim, the reason parks don't put the price on items is so they can raise and drop prices quickly. At Disney they do the color system, the items will be tagged with a color and have a card nearby to tell you what price the color represents. By doing this, when they want to change the price they just change the price color card instead of all the tags.
Hi Tim...those strategically placed bouys you saw in the lagoon are markers where the underwater tie offs are for barges. Crews use the barges for supplies, etc.

A lot of police here for security reasons of course. But there is soo much to see including broadway shows, A walk through Central Park, sooo many different restaurants choices and more!

Apparently Lucy and Desi treated the kid that played Little Ricky really well. My dad saw an interview with him recently and he grew up friends with the family and their real son and I think they had him over for holidays and stuff. It was a nice story. I work in NYC-- can confirm, SOME building are decorated like that around Christmas time. Mostly near Rockefeller Center. The crowds are not magical here around Christmas, but I will say, the city itself feels very special throughout the holidays.

I love random stories 🙊 we had so many when we was over in the states, people are so much more confident and come over and speak and that excited me 🙊🙊 Met the most lovely older couple in the queue at Busch gardens, they were in their 80s on a couples holiday and love riding rollercoasters it was the cutest and they had so many stories 🙊

12:46 I just went to NYC for the first time in December (so I’m by no means an expert!) and I only saw Christmas decorations like that down 5th Avenue and like the Macy’s and other department stores/shops. It would be magical if every building was decorated like that though!

My son (aged 10) doesn't do rides (motion sickness and just generally doesn't like anything fast). Have you done a video about doing NONE of the rides? Tips for enjoying the park without going on the rides? He might entertain some rides that are very slow so any recommendations on gentler rides would be great! BTW congratulations on the birth of Jackson 🍼👶👏 Thanks!

There's a guy, similar to the one you mention at 7:50, who lives in the area whom rattles on with random facts and trivia. We call him "No Pants" since he never wears pants (he wears short shorts that look like underwear) with black socks and a wind breaker no matter how cold it is. He looks like a cross between Jim Ignatowski from Taxi and Doc Brown from BTTF and shows up in the most random of places and starts a monologue.
