    I always liked to curl in. Didn't understand the curled out until later in life. I did ok with my style... but now I like to have that flared look

      I was the same way - really enjoy the flared out now as well.

    Im wondering how do you make that square shape at the two hinges

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  ปีที่แล้ว

      Keep laces tight and make glove the shape you desire to hold the wanted shape.

    For infield, where do you break in most at heel? Below thumb side or on pinky side ? Thanks!

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both! very important to have good break in points on both ends.

    What would you say is the best 44 glove pattern for 2nd and SS

      I’m thinking JP11 but idk

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question - I would suggest either an I-web or H-web - but if you like another pattern and the glove is the correct size for the infield get what pattern you like the best.

      Thank you for watching and the compliment! You can shape your glove that way absolutely! Find the shape that you think fits your play style the best.

    How do you flare your thumb

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Just by bending thumb to the angle you want repeatedly.

    Great vid man I don’t own that glove got a Rawlings but any tips on making it close thumb to pinky

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question - close your glove consistently to the thumb and pinky and the leather will naturally follow that closure over time. Also try putting two fingers in the pinkly stall of the glove.

    Should I use vaseline as like a glove conditioner? It's a brand new a2000 and I'm trying shape and break it in

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question - I would shy away from Vasoline as a glove conditioner. We do have our own all natural glove conditioner available on our website. www.one6ballgloves.com. Check it out - let us know if you have any questions.

    • @YourName-lh7si

      You don’t need to use glove conditioner to break in a glove cause they are already conditioned coming out of the factory

    • @one6ballgloves391
      @one6ballgloves391  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right, you don't need to but it is encouraged.

    I've been playing baseball since 1978 at age 10, and yes there is a right way... Playing baseball infield or outfield you should never have a curl to your glove it should be flat than curled... Curled gloves are more for softball.

    • @one6ballgloves391
