- This building is an extension of the Norwegian ideal that walking in nature is free for all to do. They built this Opera house in 2008 with the same idea. Everyone is allowed -- no encouraged to walk all over the rooftop of this iconic building. The marble roof has more angles that you can imagine and the white marble stone has multiple textures and embellishments.
I was nervous about walking it as it was December cold and quite icy. I watched multiple people slip and slide something I was not keen to do. Eventually I got brave and started to climb. In reality the climb up was easy it was all the roof angles near the top that made walking trickier. I didn't fall and even better I realy enjoyed the views, brave seagulls, and even the crunchy ice under my feet.
Remember to like, comment, and subsribe for more of the walks round the wrold that I take.
