    Good job. Yellow dye tends to be more orange or brown on a lot of leathers especially after it gets some sunlight. I use paints like the white Angelus acrylic you used for yellow as well as white. Another coloring trick you may try is painting super shene over the painted flowers let it dry at least overnight. Then use an antique stain. The stain should wipe off of the flowers, add some shadows in the cut marks, and color the background that doesn't have super shene on it. I prefer that to painting dye in the background.
