- The Fuji Shibazakura Festival is one of the most popular to see Pink Moss or Phlox Moss in Japan. With over a half million pink moss and Mt. Fuji in the background, you will have a memorable experience and can take beautiful photos. The best time to visit the place is during early May with a sunny day and in the early morning. Usually, the park is open from 6 AM during full bloom.

Great sharing , my friend .It still looks the same as I remember it when I visited this place a few years ago. Only that yellow door is maybe new. 😉 nice Video . Have a beautiful weekend
Thanks for visiting
Nice Video! What time did you get there for less people?
Maybe 8 or 9 in the morning.
HI! Do you already know when the festival starts this year?
In 2024, the festival will be held from April 13 to May 26.
Coming to Japan on May 02, hope it's a good time to see this garden
You may need to go there early in the morning because May 2 is Golden Week holiday in Japan and there will be a long (maybe an hour or more) traffic japan.
By the way, do you go there by bus or car? If you go there by car I can recommend you the best route with less traffic.
I will catch the Fuji Excursion train from Tokyo, Planning to arrive early morning since this place gets crowded soon..
Hi! I am wondering what the best way to visit outside of the season? For example, if the suggested dates for the Fuji Motosuko resort is April 15, and I want to visit April 14. Would the highway express buses be running at that time? Thank you in advance!
I think the Fuji festival starts on the 13th
