It's never unnecessary not to do things properly. The place were you create should always be a place you want to be. Plus always a good time to practice anything new
👆This! I totally agree! So much work, but the result is worth it :)
yes - shop project to test stuff great plan!
Seriously! The best chance to try new things!
Absolutely I would do it. Nice clamp wall
Thanks 👍
A sweet look with the walnut. Its way to expensive in my area to use on shop accessories. I need a clamp rack, and may copy some of your ideas. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! I’ll admit it did feel a bit wrong using walnut on something for the shop, that’s why I tried to maximize the parts with scraps. Thanks for checking it out :)
Nah you used scrap walnut. It is a beautiful wood and expensive so a good project. Liked that you said it took you a year on the project. I am working on a project which so far has been in the making for 8 maths so far. Also I liked the locking feature on the under side of the French cleat. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you! Yes, it always sucks having to set something aside but as long as it eventually get finished up, I’m happy. Thanks for the like and sub! Stay tuned for more :)
They look nice and functional. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Lovely work. I enjoy the metal as well. Finally a woodworker with some taste in music! :) New sub earned!
Thank you! Haha yes! Thanks for the sub!
Ok, you inspired me. Time to upgrade my clamp storage.
I’m glad to have provided some inspiration! Go for it!
Very well put together video man!
Thank you!!!
Yes, I would make great looking shop improvements 💯 indefatigablely. I went totally crazy doing my shop draws 🙃 😮😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉🎉 and their magnificent 🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😅😅😅
That sounds awesome!
Sweet
Oh man.. That is such a great clamp holding system!!
Would love to see you make and market your clamp holding system...
I would definitely buy them from you!
Great job!!
Thanks! I might make so plans in the future so definitely stay tuned!
Great project! I'd mostly put the extra effort in to make it look nice, but that comes after 10 years of building super basic shop solutions. The locking mechanism on your cleat is genius. My OCD would allow me to be OK with leaving off the back cover over the locking mechanism, though. I'd rather see the genius solution every time I used it to remind me for the next project.
Thanks! Yeah, we’re always building things for the shop “just to get by” so it was nice to build something more substantial.
It’s your work area you clamp rack. But it does look great and functional. Great job.
Thank you!
I made myself a French cleat wall in the workshop. Everyone who works there with me telling me it's too much! Just do a static shelf - they tell me... But is it really too much?! It's a fucking french cleat! 😤💪
There’s just way more flexibility with a French cleat so you’re never stuck with a single shelf. Good call! Thanks for watching :)
Yeah, if I had the wood & time, I would do the same
Always a good place to go overkill on shop furniture. And ace sound track.
I agree! Thanks! I’m glad people are digging the music :)
Very nice. I’m in need of redoing my clamp organizing too.
Thanks! Perfect timing!
very clever idea of using the space in between the angled sides
Thanks!
Great design and functionality!
Glad you like it! Thanks!
Looks great. Keep uploading!
Thanks! Will do :)
Genial idea!!! me encanta.
Thank you :)
