I feel in the golden 80ts music era, with this album, sounds perfect. Reminds me Twisted sister and Roxette with a metal taste. I really enjoy this style keep rocking!
Definitely influenced by the heavier and thankfully uglier side of 80's glam which still counts as true metal in my books. Think Crue at their raucous best, the brooding menace of Twisted Sister, WASP in their less cerebral and more sleazier moments and throw in the catchy melodies of Scottish band Heavy Pettin' or the better known Dokken and something like Viper Queen is the end result. This is undeniably enjoyable in a guilty pleasure kinda way, especially the last track 'Jaded Heart'. They've sure done well here and a big thumbs up from me. It does take me back to stuff in my younger days that did get my blood flowing but would never have admitted to a few years later when I saw myself as a denizen of the extreme metal and hardcore underground. Well, you do have to be true to yourself and I've long since learnt that sod what others think and like what you know and know what you like. I know I like this.
This band should cover Seduce's "Viper Bite" song. Seduce was a metal from Detroit in the 80s, the were on the cusp of making it, but it just never happened.

Lunar Shadow (all), Spellcaster, Sacral Rage, Leather Heart, While Heaven Wept (vast oceans only), Sabire is good if wasp look-alikes, Atlantean kodex has its moments, and a few others. Viper Queen is horribly generic and their songs go in one ear and out the other. No originality or songwriting talent.
@@ChrisLee1353-c6e Thank you for writing this, as have been my sentiments for years on this NWOTHM movement. Unfortunately, when you comment with anything but praise, and you're just a troll. When the reality is, however, while these guys' hearts are in the right place, the lack of originality or any songwriting talent makes the bulk of them simply unlistenable, as badly as I WANT to like them.
