By being half human and half demon, Dante understands love and thus fights for what he loves. That gives him strength, and allows him to channel his demonic power to its maximum potential without being corrupted. It's his human spirit that steers him straight and true to his goals. He always has to teach this lesson to demons, and they pay for it by constantly challenging him and losing.

Ace Hunter Blake rebellion is a physical manifestation of dante's power so by this time rebellion is stronger than Yamato. Also ending battles quicker means nothing. Dante is so powerful by dmc4 he will choose how long the battle is going to last. He's either gonna toy with his enemies or just outright destroy them. And also Dante by dmc4 is way faster than vergil. But IMO I think Vergil should've kicked Dante's ass in dmc3 because in that game vergil is stronger but because of the plot Dante had to win

Goes to show how this show portrayed Dante's virtuous spirit. In episode 1, he berated a rich chick, calling her "heartless like a demon" for using Patty as bait to save her own ass. Then he argued Sparda's philosophy and feelings about humans with his wayward apprentice, and now he's lecturing Sid that the reason why he's weak isn't because of his ill fortuned birth but because he rejects the part of himself that supposed to balance out the demons' ambitious nature.
This is an amazing comment and analysis of Dante's character + the show. The anime is great and I always looked at it as a great character study for Dante. Considering we continue seeing his virtuosity along with added layers not seen in the games. Makes me excited for the new anime coming out

I like to believe that he went quiet after 1 due to finding out that Vergil was killed. And also in 4 he doesn’t say a word and is all silent and emotionless in the beginning as he’s still depressed inside. But he could tell that the way the yamato reacted to Nero and he connects that Nero is Vergil’s son that he starts to get happy again and goes back to his old self 🙏🏻:)

I mean it's still awesome, don't get me wrong, and the final battle between him and Abigail/Sid was still really awesome, but I wish we coulda see his demon form lol.
I actually feel it works better as a quick hint at it. This was day to day business for him, and as a result he never had to use it until now. Even then, it was just a quick DT explosion. Fitting for day to day work. Though I do agree seeing it would have been nice

He's been stronger than Sparda since the first game came out. During one of the scenes with Griffon, he says he's already far surpassed Sparda by that point. Music+dub+animation, it has all of these as masterpiece. Not going for story of course. This anime's art is real badass that's why I love it. It has the FEEL of being badass.
Sid or whatever your name is. Just because your power rivaled the Demon Kings doesn't mean your a god. Dante's dad fought the armies of Hell and defeated Mundus by himself and was willing to defend a race not because humans are weak but humans have a heart. That's how Sparda defeated Mundus and have son's that surpass him.
Dude, this anime was Awesome. Perfect form of the DMC series. And, great finale, Dante finally going DT. Though, I wish that had done more with the backstory of Baul and Modeus, Sparda's apprentices.
My favorite moment is when Dante goes all out for just a moment and you can see his demonic side while on the other end you see Sid's face inside of his Abigail form. The true power comes from the inside and while Sid is meak on the inside, Dante is a monster with horrifying strength

Never really seen Hellsing. That anime typically got me sick to my stomach. However, I have seen bits and pieces and while I like Dante as much as the next guy, I think being torn apart and eaten is the one thing he wouldn't survive. Now, if you were to say "Dante teaming up w/ Alucard = Pretty Badass", that would be a different story.
For those who dont know, demons in dmc use human blood as a source of power. Take DMC5 for example. Since Dante, Nero, and Vergil are part human. They have a endless power supply.

Dante still needed Devil Trigger to give that extra umph cause Abigail could block Dante's two-handed strike with one arm. I guess this was merely a testament to how much more powerful Dante gets with his transformations. Dante being outerversal sounds too high unless we're using SMT Dante.

Was Sid actively avoiding Dante's heart? I mean, first Sid stabs him with his sword which at best punctured a lung, and later stabs him six more times with one spike in each shoulder, one in each leg, and two in the abdomen. I know Dante has shrugged off a heart wound before but I'd think it'd be more effective.
It wouldn’t make any difference, Dante had gotten stabbed by his sword almost every game right through the heart and was still breathing, then got back up. It’s not really something that he likes happening though, expressing constant irritation and annoyance at often this occurrence is.
I will buy it right away! They need to re-introduce DMC3 story in anime so we will have more detail story about Dante/Vergil story during the DMC3 period.

DMC3 Dante was a young teen with family issues. DMC1 Dante was a young man trying to honor his family. This Dante is like a father trying to keep his wife & daughter safe, same with their friends. DMC2 Dante is a broken down man who lost everything. DMC4 Dante was freed from his depression after meeting a nephew he was unaware of. DMC5 Dante is a fun loving uncle, who tells everyone that he’s got everything under control, but gets surpassed by his nephew, while being reunited with the brother he once killed, making him happy. I bet DMC6 Dante would be an old man, who is still happy to have his brother back, which gets interesting when they meet their granddaughter.

Yuroske Nero was able to overwhelm Villan who handled the power of Spada much better then Arkham. i would say Nero at the near the end of game is much more powerful then Dante from Devil may Cry 3... but Much Weaker then Dante from Devil May Cry 1.

Too Epic for Words, that's what this scene is. From Voices to The Action (What we see and are given) and so on. Just so damn good.
My favorite moment is when Dante goes all out for just a moment and you can see his demonic side while on the other end you see Sid's face inside of his Abigail form.
The true power comes from the inside and while Sid is meak on the inside, Dante is a monster with horrifying strength

Was Sid actively avoiding Dante's heart? I mean, first Sid stabs him with his sword which at best punctured a lung, and later stabs him six more times with one spike in each shoulder, one in each leg, and two in the abdomen. I know Dante has shrugged off a heart wound before but I'd think it'd be more effective.
It wouldn’t make any difference, Dante had gotten stabbed by his sword almost every game right through the heart and was still breathing, then got back up. It’s not really something that he likes happening though, expressing constant irritation and annoyance at often this occurrence is.

I bet DMC6 Dante would be an old man, who is still happy to have his brother back, which gets interesting when they meet their granddaughter.
