One person comits murder one person gets punished but one camper van empty his water or leaves rubbish as car drivers also do by the way and the whole vanlife community gets banned is this fair why don't we punish the offender my guess is discrimination has a lot to do with it as far as I'm aware we don't ban surtain sections of society from places in this country unless you happen to turn up in a campervan and then its ok to put up no campervan sighns everywere
Thanks for commenting, @danhadfield6275. I think it's about catching them doing it but also there's a HUGE difference between murder and emptying human waste into the countryside
Councils damage local businesses’ trade by banning overnighting. The councils could install pay machines and charge maybe £10 for 24 hours. Those 100 vans would make the council £1,000 A DAY! And 100 vans in a town could make the local businesses maybe an EXTRA £50,000 A DAY from campervanners!
I can't imagine that there will be many takers for the National Truss site as that is ridiculously excessive, Thankfully I am 6.57m so can't go. (I've been known to reduce the length buy removing the Tow ball to get to 6.5m to save money) I grumble at paying £30 for a night with basic facilities. For £64 per night I want it to be all an singing and dancing site. That I would probably avoid as I don't like large sites. I can't believe that someone would leave both sets of keys in there van when going off, and leaving it unlocked with a dog inside. Well I can as some are a bit daft! That is really strange that the Woman managed to fall out of a Motorhome. I can well believe she had Life Changing injuries as it is bad enough coming of a Motorbike at speed on the road and the damage it does protective clothing. Having seen gravel rash on those that don't wear protective clothing, it is can be very gruesome. As you say very strange indeed. It is always a small group in no matter what you do, that affect the rest of us from enjoying things in a sensible and respectful manor. With Us lot it doesn't matter that more of us will leave a place cleaner then they found it, when that good work is undone by those with a could give a toss attitude and don't think of anyone but themselves.
Thanks for commenting, @Simon_W74. The NT site is £64 for two nights and two people not just for one night. It's still expensive though. I don't believe the couple with the dog were walking off somewhere without locking up and leaving their dog inside - they were probably sitting outside with the dog inside when she jumped up on to the drivers door and pressed the central locking system.
@@motorhomenews That makes it quite funny then if that is the case, well for us that are not involved. Thankfully our two dogs haven't done that. Like Herman we only have one door cab door. Nessa does have a push down door lock on the passenger door, but a sliding lock on the Habitation door that is fairly stiff. They may need to fit a secure key safe on the vehicle with a spare key, just incase their dog decides it wasn't some time out from them again. I must have missed the two nights thing. I did recently find a Cl site that was asking for £30 a night and not real services. Then found another that had more services for only £12 per night. Sadly they were booked for the second Bank Holiday Weekend. As we didn't think about booking sooner. This will be Nessa's first time out since the the new Gearbox was fitted. The whole episode made me think back to your own experience with Herman and the trouble you had getting his Gearbox sorted.

Thanks Ads for all the info. £64 yes does seem a bit pricey especially as there is no toilet or shower facilities.
Yeah, that's what I thought too, @MrFHLH . Thanks for commenting
Could she have fallen out the back doors? And yeah £64 too much for that set up _ you can get decent camp sites for that - cheers Ads
Great little update Ads and yes agree that NT site is ott for the facilities on offer

That's great news that you've got Nessa going again. Just in time for the new season 👍👍
Lie - them? Do your research!
No one is lying, @philhounam523. By "them" do you mean the couple with the dog? Why would anyone lie about that?

You know nothing about this woman and what happened. I do and she was not pushed. Shame on you!!!
I didn't say she was pushed. What happened, @minichickmf?
