I have to say I always thought the A3s and A2s had their uses but there needed to be a slower style a series disc and this is it. And I would use this disc way more than the other a series for sure
I’d love to see this stacked up against the distortion. The two discs feel almost identical which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense seeing as that they serve virtually the same purpose
Thanks! I appreciate that a lot. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this disc. I may have to try out a distortion if I can get my hands on a couple next so i can say officially which one I think is best but I really thought the A5 was great
One of the few forehands I like throwing right now is slower speed discs lol. I’ve had a lot of elbow problems with forehand this year so haven’t thrown as much but I always want to include them in reviews because I know it’s useful and people want to know. Hopefully elbow will straighten itself out here at somepoint so they are pain free. Would love to be able to snap some good ones

It’s similar to zone but has a slightly different feel in hand. To me it’s very comfortable feel both forehand and backhand. And the plastic is pretty grippy. That’s one thing I have generally always liked from prodigy, I did really like their plastics a lot. Usually really grippy

@@brendansmith234 I have to say I actually don’t think there is a disc that is like an A2. I think an A2 is too fast to be a zone. They have more distance potential than and skip than a zone. That’s just my own insight from throwing them for 3-4 years on street team. I liked them but I wanted a slower disc for an actual zone shot. If you hold a zone and A2 side by side the rims are not close. But an A5 and zone are very close in feel but A5 is like a really beat in zone. Not a new zone
They recently updated the flight numbers of some discs and every A series disc has now had their flight numbers updated, A5 flight numbers being 4302 for example.
@topiasjarvinen7051 didn’t know that! Lol to be honest, I never even knew any prodigy discs flight numbers because back when I threw prodigy they didn’t have them haha
Oh yea, I never do lol. I try to give companies a benefit of the doubt with them to be somewhat close to give an idea but sometimes they are nowhere in the ballpark lol. The Grym I reviewed from Kastaplast was well outside it’s flight numbers. Was like destroyer numbers and flew like a flippy fairway. To be fair I think they have updated those but still lol
I just got my hand on the orange one 174g and it is beyond incredible. Well covered review man🤙

Great review!
Good video. This seems to be the disc exactly what I need.

I’m thinking I’m going to try to get ahold of a couple and review to see exactly what differences there is if there is at all! I’m curious myself
Great video!
Ayoooo the legend himself!

Ohh and btw, open invitation to come on channel if you’re ever in my area and want to play the wooded course I designed. Trees everywhere lol
Good to see a fellow good flicker.
I've wanted to see this disc flicked.

This is making me wanting to go get some
It’s a solid disc. I liked it quite a bit
now this is my type of a disc. I would love to try one of these. I don't like the zone. I need a disc in-between my meteor and glow reko.
the soft nomad is what I have in the slot now but I would like something in champion type plastic being that I play mainly woods golf
and I can't really sidearm my nomad. or my meteor
I definitely want it 😢 I just hope it's more comfortable than the zone which is just a hair to deep for my 4hand grip and z plastic is to slick

Dunno where they got the numbers but I will always throw this one
i need to get me some of these.
What state are you in? That’s a beautiful backdrop
I’m in Virginia! Right in the blue ridge mountains. The most Southwest portion of Virginia. Beautiful area for sure
Have you got your hands on a toro yet?
Not yet but I’ve heard some good stuff
It flies and feels almost identical to the Distortion. There is no need to bag both.
That was my thoughts when I felt it. I was just like the a5 felt flatter and I was like this feels a bit better in hand
the fortress of solitude
I was gonna say, this is definitely a Zone flight but -1, 1 for turn and fade? Flight numbers are incredibly off lol. Disc looks great though.
It’s a great disc but numbers are alittle off from what I would call it for sure
I disagree. A2 is a zone

I have a 300 plastic and it won't pan like that

Never trust flight numbers

Uncomfortable
A1 = no idea and wouldn’t throw an approach that non-workable
A2 = Zone
A3 = Gator
A4 = (I don’t have a comparison)
A5 = Mako
