New numbers on most of the A-series btw, the A5 is 4,3,0,2 now for example. Search "prodigy-disc-at-10-a-decade-of-innovation-and-excellence" (not on yt just in search) ^_^
Love the A5, feels just like a Zone but just flies more straight. Prodigy also updated the flight numbers a while ago and put the A5 as a 4-3-0-2 which is way more accurate but most online shops haven't updated it yet and there are still stamps with the old numbers. Would love to see an A2 vs MD5!
Dope to meet you out there yesterday! I might still be looking for the disc that was right in front of me without you lol Keep putting out great content
First off, in a review of this kind you are fully allowed to rethrow some discs to make a perfect showing of their difference, almost made it perfect at hole 18 without retake, nicely done! The A3 is a whistler on lower RPM (forehands), the sound of drag? Oh, in the end you got it on a backhand! Lovely, will practice my whisteling... ;D ;D Just when I thought about buying an A5 I bought a pack with a used Savior, it seems exactly what an A5 is but slightly more glide and more expensive new due to the Grand plastic. So got an A3 and a Savior in the bag to complement my Piggy with great grip, seem to jumpput or just putt long with my normal putters more and more from 140' so not found much use for them lately on the few rounds I have achived this year since I way to often disc up before that range ;D
I love prodigy’s approach discs. I carry 3 of them at all times. A2,A3,A5 to cover all my approach needs. A2 I use for forehand shots, A3 I use for backhand shots, and A5 for those straight approaches. I’ve made more birdies and long par saves with the A3 than any other disc in my bag.
Really interesting talk about the different type of approaches with the different discs. In my area there's very few holes where you get any skip at the end of the flight. So naturally it's not something I ever really think about. It would be a big hole in my game if I ever went somewhere with much different terrain, like out west. I love a really stable approach disc still, bag the sokibomb slammer and that thing is an absolute brick. I found with the zone I was always going deep since it's basically a stable mid range. So now I use the zone for exactly that, a stable mid range.
As a person that throws the a5 a heck ton, the numbers on it resemble what it is going to beat up to. Once you beat up an a5 for about 2 weeks, then it is a dead straight forehand approach disc and the numbers are really accurate
Good positive content about prodigy for a change. I prefer the A 2 to the zone and like the putter line up too. PA 5 is a great arrow for your quiver if you play woods golf.
Don't forget MVP/Axiom/Streamline approach putters. They have a nice line up of approach discs like the Envy, Proxy, Entropy, Watt, Glitch, Tempo, Pitch, Stabilizer, Pilot in premium plastic.
I will say that if it’s hard to find where that A2 fits in I would recommend to have a straighter approach disc or glidey zone or something compliment a close to flat top or generally pretty beefy A2 for me I have a distortion and a ‘21 Vaino A2 that is my favorite 1 2 punch in my bag
I’ll always dunk on prodigy for their business practices and their discs… BUT my distortion is never leaving the bag unless I get sponsored. No other approach disc feels that good. They’re all too zone like. The only thing that’s ever challenged it is the tempo
Would you say the A1 is closer to the zone os? I know all pros say the zone os is useless but me and my friends always find ways to use it. It never goes too far on approach.
@@THR33-LAWS-SAF3 I’m working with the team there to try to get one made. They don’t do them much because they can get abused by being posted online, but I’m hoping to have one relatively soon!
@@BodanzaDiscGolf okay that makes sense! Appreciate the transparency. P.s. I’d love to see you do a video on the discraft Tour series jawbreaker flx discs and another video of gummy discs. I saw on infinite they have a gummy wraith and the existence of gummy centurion and other discs. (Could be more appropriate during winter)
@@THR33-LAWS-SAF3 good idea on the gummy vid!!! I did make a vid about 4 of the jawbreaker z flx a while back but I think it was part of my Paige pierce drive review iirc
I don’t care how good the disc flies or how good it feels in the hand, if it has the wing of a gator, I’m not giving it a chance. I want my discs to look aerodynamic.
I would even go into thier PA line is might be almost as consistent if not on par with Thier approach line. I picked up the 500 PA-5 insanity clicked and heard that from alot of people . Love the content recently 🥏🥏
Sorry for your bedtime but I gotta keep the daily streak alive ;). Long day today. Hope you enjoy this style of review :)
Thanks for your hard work, so very much appreciated ❤

My flat top 750 a3 is my baby- I always try to complement it w a flat(as possible) a2
The beauty of the A3 is how blocky that rim is. It is a PHENOMENAL scramble disc because it does exactly what it's told on forehand rollers
Really enjoyed the format of this video! It all flowed together great and was informative and fun!!
So glad you like the A5! It knocked my zone right out of my bag the moment I got it
I throw the A5 the most of any of my discs now. I can get it out to around 300 and it holds any line. Great disc.
A5 and A1 combo is pretty much all I need for approachin’
Love my A3's in 300 plastic. Beat in to great flippy throwers!
A5 = Premium Jawbreaker Zone
I love the A2. Great video!
best side profile comparison!! finally a video where I could actually visually see the differences side-by-side!
Beat in an A2. It is awesome, I highly recommend it.

Great video format - would love to see many more of these
Excellent content, concise, visual, helpful. Thank you to the real AB

Recently been using the jawbreaker zone more but used the A5 for the longest. Loved that disc!
Thanks for video! Been waiting for this video for awhile

Love the daily uploads always appreciated the hustle💯
Superb disc review video. So good to compare how things fly that you have in hand.
Don't forget MVP/Axiom/Streamline approach putters. They have a nice line up of approach discs like the Envy, Proxy, Entropy, Watt, Glitch, Tempo, Pitch, Stabilizer, Pilot in premium plastic.
my old A2 flyes almost longer then my mids. it has some sick glide now. Dont know how but my friend has also a A2 that glides for ever.
I throw the A2 and A5 for 90% of my shots under 300 that's not a putt. Great combo and covers all your short distance needs.
The A4 is far and away one of my favorite forehand discs of all time. They go so far and they're so darn controllable. Nearly perfect disc IMO
It's the only A-series I don't have. How does it compare to the A3 and A5? Heard it's actually less stable than the A5
Really love the distortion , it took the a2 place in my bag
I will say that if it’s hard to find where that A2 fits in I would recommend to have a straighter approach disc or glidey zone or something compliment a close to flat top or generally pretty beefy A2 for me I have a distortion and a ‘21 Vaino A2 that is my favorite 1 2 punch in my bag
Nothing will replace my Clash Mint and Peppermint. Best forehand approach discs ever made imo.
Really love the idea on this!
LOVE Prodigy 400 stuff. The A2 feels so much better in my hand than a Zone.
Get yourself a Preznell soft zone … if ya don’t have one it’ll change your approach game big time … did for me especially little flick for hands
A2 400 Glimmer VM and A5 750 Spectrum LH is money in the bank!
Distortion is pretty much a staple for my bag now
I’ll always dunk on prodigy for their business practices and their discs… BUT my distortion is never leaving the bag unless I get sponsored. No other approach disc feels that good. They’re all too zone like. The only thing that’s ever challenged it is the tempo
Love my A2s
Would you say the A1 is closer to the zone os? I know all pros say the zone os is useless but me and my friends always find ways to use it. It never goes too far on approach.
yes but faster. Feels like it wants to push and be overstable, Zone OS feels like it wants to dump and be overstable
A2 is the best feeling approach disc to me. Plus it goes far for how overstable it is. It’s the best in the game
Idk if they are the best, but they do a good job of covering almost any flight you could want.
Awesome and helpful review now I need to go get some shut eye😂
Have seen the video, but I’ll say yes.
Does anyone have a discount code for infinite discs?

Sold out for now, more coming soon
