Love the two lane tolled motorways in France, such a pleasure driving. Evokes memories en route to Grammat, great watching and listening to Schiller, magical ❤
What a beautiful highway. I use to take the Autoroute du soleil, which in my view only around the Rhone is interesting, this month I took the 75 which was beautiful but honestly quite stressy with all its curves and ups and downs. Next time I will try this A20 un my way to the Mediterranean.
A20 is one of the most longest motorway in France after A10 which is the most longest. But A20 has the most longest straight line for a motorway in France (20 km) close to the city of Châteauroux (Northen part). Thanks for the video
12:08 : and ride through A10 is useless since the N10 is a completed expressway between Bordeaux & Poitiers, without tolls. But I agree, A75 is the best road, but be carefull now with the new rules with winter equipment.
The section from Souillac to Cahors is the only one I haven't driven on between Limoges and Montauban. It was great to how how it looks like, enjoyed your video a lot! Greetings from a fellow roadtripper from Germany.

I don't know what is it like to drive on the Autoroutes and normal roads in the French Republic or Republique francaise, but the A20 Autoroute isn't the nicest autoroute in the country. Driving on the autoroutes and seeing a lot of farmland and countrysides is nice. If I go to France one day and take a drive on the French autoroutes, I will know that the speed limits and the distances of cities and villages are in kilometers, because the French Republic is a metric country. I also been looking at the road signs in France and seeing what they mean. Lane discipline, the overtaking rule, no lane hogging, going through toll plazas on the autoroutes, roundabouts (rond-point) and give way signs (Cedez Le Passage) is things I know. The toll plaza-free A75 autoroute is still the best, even though I've never driven on it and any other autoroute in France. 110 km/h (RAPPEL) Greetings from the USA. Vive la France Vive la Republique francaise
It’s nice to see an American commenting the way we drive in Europe ! I used to live as an expat in the US and I also experienced US motorway ( New York City, PA, FL). At the beginning, I just drove like most Europeans do: taking the left lane only to overtake, mainly drove in the right lanes etc .. and then I just realised lanes don’t matter in America ! And I liked it ! You drive regardless of your position on the road and enjoy it. 😃😃 Greeting from France 🇫🇷🇺🇸
There are on French highways big brown signs for touristic informations (wineyards, castles, historic villages at the nearest exit). On the free part of A20 (northern than this one, from Vierzon to Brive-la-Gaillarde), these signs had to be put down in 2015, because the public road administration didn't made a good contract with the graphist, and they have the permission to use the design only for a determined number of years. French administration masterpiece ^^. New signs have been made in 2018.
Good motorway not too many cars on it. But in a few years because of the absence of road works ( no budget !) , French roads everywhere may become a Real chaos !! 1€ per person and per month...for road works !!! 840 million for 70 million people.
