Neither of us expected this to be as emotional as it was...we've been taking our time with boxing things up and closing this chapter of our life. As much as we want to get back to the land, it's important to sort through these emotions as well as the stuff. Excited to take you along next week and show you more about our life here...any suggestions on what you want to see? Have a great week guys!
Okay guys, first thing I have to say is, “Wow! Your video editing and filming skills are through the roof!” Wide angle, still frame, close ups... just amazing work. Aside from your enjoyable personalities, your skills make your videos so enjoyable to watch. Major kudos! I don’t think most people realize how much work is involved in this level of production. You are Amazing! Love from New Mexico!
One thing I've learned thru experience in my 66 years of life: when financial/business challenges arise, don't panic, don't give them angst and worry. Breathe deeply, stay open and remember, it will resolve. You have health, wonderful love, great fur buddies, wonderful families. You have all the important, irreplaceable elements in life. Money issues will be resolved and likely in a couple months you'll barely remember 'em. Promise!
I was very moved by your coment and it helped me as well. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed, quite a lot lately in fact, but I needed to hear this. Thank you sooo much.
@@tanschi8449 This is the most challenging time in so many ways for so many of us! The past years (esp if you're in the US) have been stress piling on seemed like every day! Take it a day at a time, or hour at a time if you need to, and just keep telling yourself "I will be OK" Another tool I use: it's the mind that likes to mess with us. So I have sticky notes all over my house. And when I sense myself going into that scary downward spiral of worrying, stressful thinking, I make myself focus on whatever positive thoughts are on the notes. And I say them out loud to myself, replacing the negative thoughts with positive, breathing deeply, and don't stop until I feel lighter. Make up some sayings that work for you, discard what doesn't help and really do not allow your mind to make your fear bigger and scarier.
You could NEVER cope with all these setbacks if your weren't such a great team (love!) and if you didn't make each other laugh all the time. So, thanks for inspiring us.
There is no one else on TH-cam like you two! 😍 you’re genuine, funny, smart, and have the best relationship. Love watching and thank you so much for the laughs! 😘
You guys compliment each other so well. Where there is a strength in one there is a weakness in the other. It's the perfect match. You fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. Your home is beautiful, and I'm excited to see you build your new cabin in the woods. Thanks for another entertaining upload.
Hi Guys, Living in the Pacific Coast rain forest, I enjoy your beautiful shots of your property on a winter’s day in Nova Scotia. I also like how you “punctuated” your scenery and music with you humorous conversation. It cheers up my Sunday afternoon! Travelling across our beautiful country is not always easy, especially when you need to get to Edmonton from Nova Scotia in winter and during a pandemic. Wow, you did it in seven (?) hours! Thanks so much for sharing the early story of your lives together. Returning “home” to a house, a city, or a province always feels different for me. Returning to a place often brings back special memories that touch us deeply. Such Remembering is good. It “heartens” us as we move forward making new memories. Thanks for today! Have a good few days in Edmonton and a safe journey to your “home” in Nova Scotia. Cheers.
Hey guys, I know this has nothing to do with this particular video (just about to watch of course), but I just want to say how grateful I am to have found your channel last year in March. Your videos, your entire content makes me happy and I look forward to it every week. Thank you for providing some distraction and comfort content in this time (even though I know of course that things haven't been easy for you either!). All the best from a viewer in Germany
The only way that you guys could be taking on such an undertaking is the love and respect that you have for each other. It is so heartwarming. I love you guys.
The house in Edmonton is beautiful. It's easy to see you guys put a lot of love in your purchases. Please don't be away from the dogs too long. I know they are missing you.
Of the few years I started following your journey I realized 1 thing for sure, you guys are very hard workers. Your effort shows in your success. Be comfortable in these travels and projects.

What a lovely video. It was great to see your home in Alberta, but from what I see, you really are 'at home' on The Land in Nova Scotia ! Some of your things you're sorting through, you HAVE to keep - they hold memories, and even if you keep them in a crate somewhere - one day you'll discover them again, and all those memories will re emerge :-) Have fun and take special care - can't wait for next Sunday X X
It was great to see your properties in Edmonton that we have heard so much over the year. You did a beautiful job of renovating them and anyone would be so lucky to stay or live in them. All you emotions came across in the vlog but together you can do it. Have fun but try not to get too stressed. Sending, love, support and big hugs. 😍🥰

So sorry about the power id cry too but tomorrow will be better love to both of you
Didn't think I could like you all more than I do, but then Todd pulls out color coded signs and labels for sorting and explains his spreadsheet! OMG!! I love your brain as much as your heart :D
It is always emotional to pack up so many memories. Love you both. 🥰🥰
This video is by far the second-best vidoe after your wedding one of course.... the emotions you guys have been through in your first house... the first car... absolutely love those few mins of your sofa talk..... you are our fav couple...love you guys
Wow! So much going on. But you guy have got this. You have each other and that's what counts. Stay strong.
omg this eagle in the middle of the video! so beautiful!
You guys are so sweet. I love when you go off talking really fast and in twenty different directions....
We’ve had some practice with it hahaha!
My heart is with you. Mounties can overcome anything. 💕💜
What a coincidence. The We stayed in our first AirBnB recently in NOLA and it led me to looking on the site for your places in Edmonton just yesterday!!
Love you two and love your relationship. You make me smile.
That is a interesting house you go into the basement then down into the next basement then into a little basement its looks super nice too
GENTLEMAN!!!...my head is spinning...your determination is inspiring...you both are just AMAZING...
STEADY ON!!!
Quite a journey. So many emotions...thinking of you.
Sigh. So many huge emotions...your ability to navigate crazy life changes together is enviable and admirable. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thanks Aimee, appreciate it!
Big hugs to you both. It’s a tough job emptying out a house but it will all workout. Take the best care of yourselves ❤️❤️❤️
Would love to see some wedding photos or photos when the two of you first got together. Much love and stay safe 💛💛
You guys are amazing. Inspirational. No matter what, goes wrong, the things that matter are in focus. watching you makes me a better person.
I just started watching your videos yesterday you are so inspirational
I clean our bath room cabinet out and throw alot of rubbish out what a difference it makes
It’s true. It kind of feels more like an Airbnb than our home now.
It was great to see your properties in Edmonton that we have heard so much over the year. You did a beautiful job of renovating them and anyone would be so lucky to stay or live in them. All you emotions came across in the vlog but together you can do it. I expect it will take longer than you think, but you well feel better and more settled when you get back to The Land and start you new endeavours and dreams in you new home. Have fun but try not to get too stressed. Sending, love, support and big hugs. 😍🥰
he's so adorable!!!! you guys are so lucky to have each other! If only the rest of us, could be that lucky!!!!!
You guys are so cute together. Keep moving forward. Sending love from Kansas.
Beautiful place you Guys. Good luck parting with some items it is hard because they all hold memories.
