When you said do you want to hear the most annoying sound, it reminded me of the classic comedy starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, Dumb and Dumber. I forgot the actual name of the Dog Car they were in, but Lloyd said, “Do you want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?” Then he lets out this weird-sounding screech. That little tidbit was totally improvised by Jim.
When a home run is scored in baseball, the announcer shouts "HOME RUN!" When a touchdown is scored in football, the announcer shouts "TOUCHDOWN!" When a goal is scored in soccer, the announcer shouts "GOAL!" When a basket is scored in basketball, the announcer starts acting like he has some hip hop disease. "Nothin' but the bottom of the net!" "Is it the shoes?" "Jamma-lamma ding dong!" or my personal favorite, "For two!" or maybe "Four too" or whatever it is.
Love the NBA Jam games, although I do weirdly miss the short little videos that played during halftime of the original NBA Jam. Also, Larry Johnson competed in the 1992 Slam Dunk contest and finished second.
Joe, you guys stay safe! Hurricane Milton looks really scary! The Carolinas 'usually' don't get hurricanes, but........ This one looks really pissed off at something.
We'll see what happens, usually by the time it makes it up here they don't have much strength left, and our area isn't prone to flooding.... looks like Florida is in for it though!!!
+1 for showing how you capped the monitor! I assume you discharged the monitor prior to removing the old capacitors. Did the discharge drain the capacitors as well or do they normally drain down within a few seconds?
It's disappointing that the owner doesn't want to fix the artwork, and make it look reasonably new. Not even fixing the marquee light? Really? He may not think it's a big deal, but Kids DO notice little things like that. They notice faded artwork. Kids don't like playing on old looking machines. I've personally seen kids refuse to play on arcade machines because the exterior looked too old or worn out. People are more inclined to give games a chance if the machine looks well taken care of and new.
Fixing 3 games in a row....He's on FIRE!

Not most annoying 'sound' per Se, but most annoying dialog to me is "all your base are belong to us' from the classic game Zero Wing.
Evening guys. Thanks for the video. Catch you on Friday.
This game and NFL Blitz are legendary!! So awesome! Great job! Thanks for your work putting this together.
Keep up the great work Joe and Ron. Really enjoyed the game play and commentarty.
It always made me laugh when the nets burned when "He's on fire!", loved the SNES version of this game too.
I remember my frugal parents doing some guerrilla soldering on the kitchen cutting board, but never on their laps.
Hey Joe great job! The NBA Jam game isn't "broke" anymore!
So good to see you guys!

Joey's showing off those mad sodddahring skills let the haters hate :D
That turned out very nice !
Great work as usual 😎
Joe, you really are the master of arcade games. Great work, very enjoyable video. Thanks.
I have a blitz showtime cab that's down so I can't wait till you do a video on it!
You have taught me much wiz one.
I’m not sure why but I was deeply invested in finding out if you got the W. nice win Ronnie. Nice win.
Thanks for sticking in there :)

Thank you, I thought he did. In the game they act like he was just a normie :)
Look at Ronnie representing our Charlotte Hornets!!

Hek yeah check out Joes soldering skills!! Very nice.
Larry finished 2nd in the 91 dunk contest. Mourning was indeed 6'10. Great Game, one of my favs but that CPU catch-up thing used to boil my blood. :)
It has the rolie poli 😂😂
Arch Rivals had this same look and AI. Nearly identical gameplay just different graphics.
Awesome!!!
BOOM! SHOCKA LOCKA!
Classic game
Hey Joe!!
Ron, you are referring to what is called “Slingshot.” As you stated, when one team is behind, they are given the ability to catch up.
I thought that was to referred to as rubberbanding.
@@Drummer8282 It could very well be. I could be wrong.
It really is unusual how many of these machines you repair have exactly the same issue.
Do you clean the old 25:36 buttons..to save money ????

Anymore we don't even discharge them usually, they drain so quick you don't have to worry about it. The anode in the tube will hold a charge though.
Not a fan of basketball but great video nonetheless Joe
dont for get to turn on big head mode that always makes it cooler
I remember more pushing... or was that just the home console versions?
Asking for a friend, Ron how big is your sheet of ply & thickness?
Why not a crimp cap or something better than electrical tape?

👍👍👍😎☕

Perhaps the owner didn’t want to pay the pros to fix the stuff the owner can do on their own? 🤷♂️
