Awesome video and catch of this in operation! I really like how the gantries go to the 'flashing red X' sequence when the bridge is about to raise too; it gives a much needed extra warning. The bascules raise quite a lot more quickly than some others I've seen of a similar size too (notably the ones in Poole), that got my attention when I visited myself
How soon after the 3rd crossing opens will this be shut for repair and then it becomes beyond economic repair and is closed permanently so the fantastic 3rd crossing will become the 2nd crossing and the traffic jams will be worse than before ????? 🤪
The crossing sounds like a ambulance

Amazing Video!👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video mate. You got a very decent shot there of the bridge raising and that wigwag in the corner haha.
Great video 👍
Nice
That sounds like a ambulance?!
Alarms are a bit glitchy
From what I've heard they use a pa system for the alarms
why are they on full volume? i hear a slight scratchy sound on the alarms as they are on 100% max volume but why? it never used to be this loud!
@@Alarmkid23 so people can hear it
The siren keeps cutting out. I think it’s faulty
im in south korea but this X sign is not working😢

It wouldn't be shut permanently
They'd repair it just enough to last however long they want it to and then reopen it
We can but hope as the roads on the north side of the new bridge wont cope with all the traffic if the bascule bridge closes
