This is similar to wearing a I fell down monitor. I an on the verge of needing one. So, actually I do need that failsafe. It can feel like I am less than I want to still be. 😢

I don't want to buy that because it feels like there is no going back

I put a small tracker in my husband’s shirt pocket just in case! I also use Find my Phone as he always likes his phone in his pocket all the time.

Jiobit notifies the care team when dementia patient wanders away from boundaries. Also helpful if patient has engraved necklace or bracelet with name and emergency contact number plus known medication allergy.

I purchased the Angle sense gps tracker wristwatch for my wife with with dementia. It’s not perfect, but it gives me an edge to keep an eye on her and find her in a worst case scenario.

There is a system called nightowl where I live that monitors doors and such for people with developmental disabilities, it's not perfect but I would imagine it could be helpful for people experiencing dementia too.
