Hello everyone
Today I am going to make a Video about piping outside the aquarium (Overflow)
This piping system is for aquariums that want to be converted into a bottom filtration system

This Overflow system can be used to pump about 4500 liters / hour
If a small tank size like the one in the Clip, you can make smaller pipes to create aesthetics
in the clip I use a pump of 2500 liters / hour

Đúng là 1 bài học hay, cái dây khí giải quyết mọi vấn đề bong bóng. Khi tới mức tràn thì hệ thống thành bình thông nhau, còn chưa tới thì nó là một ống hút áp suất, cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều.
Cái overflow của mình bị bong bóng suốt và mất chức năng hoài, bài học quá đáng giá.
chưa bao giờ thất vọng về clip của a làm,rất chi tiết và đậm tính chia sẻ để cùng học tập. Chúc a luôn khỏe và sáng tạo. Cho e được gửi lời chào Từ tp.Biên Hòa đến a !

I see that you set the sump up so it could be run independent of the tank. When I had aquariums with sumps I did the same thing Great minds think alike. it also means you can circulate more water through the filter without changing the water flow though the aquarium maximizing the bio mass. This also means in the event you need to shut down your tank the filter can continue to run maintaining the bio mass. Doubt I'll ever get back into the aquariums. Wish we had youtube went I was a kid.

I would love to see a cut away of that double reducer overflow thingy that you made in the second part of the clip (or even a diagram). That said, the glass one is infinitely cooler though it would inevitably become opaque with algae.

Very clever ideas for overflow. Cool idea with the adjusting of 90% and 10% water flow. Both ideas are working at same principle right? Water flow down into a container, then fill the container before overflowing into the aqual downpipe to the sump? I am woundering what size of pipe you are using for the pipe only overflow system. I plan on running about 2500 l/h thro my sump for my 720 l tank. Are these ideas silent?

Really nice work my friend... it's amazing to watch ur work...but u must have been using this system fr some time now....so can u tell us about the chances of it falling....i kno that the way u made it the siphon shouldn't break but r there any odds and did u had any issues...

But this is a very simple system and operates completely normal
The most important are the vents
as long as you get it right it works very well but is not as aesthetically pleasing as other tank models

It may not be as aesthetic as a drilled tank with a corner overflow, but from a functional design aspect, this system is very pleasing. Every part has its purpose, there are redundancies to kick in and it's just a beautiful system to behold. Many people wish to make the aquarium as natural as possible, however that is a facade in my eyes. As natural as a panel of wood on your car lol. The beauty of aquariums is in balance, control, engineering, the knowledge it takes to keep fish and other creatures alive. This is all in addition to the beauty of the fish, however the hard work of it all shouldn't be ignored or brushed aside. Good work man, this is inspiring.

vÍ Như này, điểm nước bạn muốn dừng lại thì sẽ bằng với 3 chỗ khoét trong bầu, miệng hút váng sẽ cao hơn cái điểm dừng đó khoảng 2-3cm tùy bạn chỉnh, còn cái đầu ống đó cao hơn mực nước dừng khoảng 1cm,là nó ở giữa 2 điểm đó

B dùng cái gì cắt cũng được mà miễn là cắt được thôi. còn như mình thì mình có cái máy mài khuôn mini đó. nó dễ thao tác chi tiết nhỏ
còn cái miếng gỗ cũng vậy b thích để bao nhiêu thì để thôi cũng không quan trọng. mình tiện cái nào thì dùng cái đấy thôi, như gỗ đấy thì nó dầy 2,5cm thì nó vừa phải mà sau cần thì mình vẫn có thể chọc được ống 21 vào đó để hút

This design is genius in so many ways!!!!! Do you have simple diagrams on how to build the whole system. I love the hanging sealed overflow. I'm planning a build of a large aquarium that hopefully I will be doing this year and I have been wanting to go back to an overflow system or a box filter above the main tank as I find both work the best. Canisters just don't seem to work as well and are cumbersome to maintain as they never truly fit in stand the way you want them to unless you build the stand yourself as well. My aquarium stand is a bottom piece to a dining hutch set, converted with interior support for an aquarium, preserving the classy look of the stands exterior. The plan I have is to custom build the tank and filtration system to function with the stand without cumbersome access to everything. So, I am wanting a very simple and straight forward design with redundancies built in for everything. This design is exactly what I'm looking for!!!!!
