The royal privileges of the 18th century and the function of the Bitumen factory in Quintanar de la Sierra allowed the Burgos-Soria pine forest region to become one of the most active road areas in Spanish geography. In the year 2000, with a group of veteran car drivers we were able to recover the tradition of this ancient work.
