    Good vid, and well done for not sweeping issues with the rig under the rug. It builds your credibility!

    Hi mate.
    I find it interesting, your comment re Ford and Toyota.
    I had 1 Ford, it was probably one of the worst and most troublesome vehicles I ever owned whereas I towed our 26ft. caravan all around Australia, in fact 2.5 times around including the Tanami twice and many other really out of the way places with my 100 series Landcruiser with our all up weight being 6.4 tons and the only trouble in 230,000 kms was a broken air conditioner compressor belt. No other problems whatsoever. Regular maintenance as required plus tyres etc but absolutely no other problems. Speaks for itself I reckon.
    Enjoy your series, hope it continues to go well for you.

      +Norm Watson cheers mate I understand what you are saying but if you stay in the same lane all the time life can get boring. We are trying a new car and we will see how it all goes. Cheers for watching.

    Hi guys great vid the air-conditioning problem is little annoying, when Harrison's converted to RHS the dash would have had to be removed wonder if any issues occurred during the conversion.?

    • @lappingtheisland
      @lappingtheisland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its all repaired now and it wasn't anything to do with the conversion side of things it was just bad luck with the evaporator.

    G-day guys love watching your adventures.We’re not on the road full time but love to some day, hey I’m hearing you about caravan parks, we’ve got 4 kids that’s why we try and bush camp and free camp as much as we can ( and I don’t like people on top of us) like in van parks. Love your rig and set up personally I’d go Ram the American trucks seem to be the way to go. Question what brand induction cooker are you running and do you rate it?
    Cheers Rod 🍺🍺

    Hi there folks, I know it's tradition to describe Tiger Snakes as "very very very aggressive", however contrary to perceived wisdom, tiger snakes are not aggressive, although they will bite if interfered with. Yes Tigers are very very very venomous and dangerous to humans, but their lack of aggressiveness means that very few people have died of their bites. Over the last ten years, only four people have died from a Tiger snake bite in Australia. So, the best advice is not to interfere with them in any way, and you will be safe and can enjoy the great Australian outdoors without fear of snakes.

    • @lappingtheisland
      @lappingtheisland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great to know mate, what I should of said aggressive if cornered or left with no choice other than to attack. As you could see this one high tailed it out of there pretty quickly.

    Caravan park is cheap, wait till you have your third child!. We pay upwards of 75 bucks a night at most caravan parks and if you decide to go Big 4 then it's 100+(peak season).Keep it real, love that you forget stuff!...
