Agreed. Drugstore and high end for guests, bridesmaid, maybe even mother of the bride/groom? My mom had no idea what to do about makeup at my wedding. I ended up doing hers myself lol. Might help some other girls prior to their wedding days .

Essence makes a great nude eyeliner you could use in your waterline. elf makes one too. Both are really good.

Essence extreme lasting eye pencil in 06 silky nude is pretty good. I’ve only had it for a week or so, and so far it’s doing what I need it to do in the water line. It claims to be waterproof and lasts up to 16 hrs. You should check it out!

Love the idea of both bc I ALWAYS forget something at home when attending an out-of-town wedding. I love the Flower Beauty day glow as well. I haven’t seen it in stores, so I hope they don’t discontinue it. I usually pull it out this time of year because I like how it melts into my skin!
I absolutely love NYX nude beige with that L'Oreal matte lip. So great. (And I normally don't love the way matte lips feel )
I love the That's Taupe palette I'm a cool toned gal from way back!! I wish CP would come out with a cool toned purple palette with those blue purples not the red purples it would be so nice! 💜💜💜
You’re not kidding about the L’Oreal lipsticks. I never get influenced to buy lip products, but after I saw your swatch video, I bought 2 shades. Then I tried them and bought 2 more. 10 out of 10!

yes to the bridal! I'm getting married next year and I've already gone through all your previous bridal tutorials, they're some of my favs of yours:)
IDK why, but when I look at designer/luxury brands, think more base products, you usually see them having matte finishes. Like most high high end brands have matte foundations. And, unfortunately for my wallet, they work and keep my oily skin looking matte or more natural looking throughout the day. Not saying that I haven't found drugstore and mid range products that work with my oily oily skin, but they're few and far between. So maybe it's just marketing, but when I see a drugstore foundation that's more on the matte side, or even natural, that wears well I think that it looks more luxurious.
The best brightening eyeliner is Colourpop in the shade Honey Dude!!! It’s my favorite ❤️

That color pop palette looks gorgeous! I'm gonna check it out. I think it works on you because it's in harmony with your skin tone. I definitely think there are people out there with warm skin tones that will look more expensive with warmer colors. I think color analysis is sooo fun and really makes a difference.

Best drugstore nude waterline eye pencil is from Essence in my opinion. I’m not sure what the name of the line is called but it’s their popular eyeliners. Hope that helps Allie. Loved this video. U look gorgeous ❤

Lastly, but not really last because this look and all of the items you used are really great products. However, I do want to agree with many who have already left comments. I would love to see a new Summer Bride look. I think this will have to definitely be two tutorials, because we need high-end and drug store brides. Definitely a bridesmaid/wedding guest drugstore look will be amazing. So I figured start with the guests and the bridal party in perhaps one tutorial, then following up with the bride herself, drug store and high-end. Could be a mini summer series for 3 in a row Saturday mornings. ❤❤

Bourjois was owned by Chanel, but sold to an American company Koty around 2014/15 in shares( so they are still the owners)so that could be the reason some of their products are pretty good.

Your not the only one who swears by the NYX lift and snatch and even prefer if to higher end eyebrow products....I mean I feel like anyone who uses it literally PREFERS it to any other! Even those of us with tons of options.....I have even seen other TH-cam videos that will feature it in videos titled "drugstore products better than high end"

I just switched to the L'Oreal infallible serum foundation. My skin has been so dry. I love it! My daughter in law told me skin looked so good yesterday. Its definitely my new foundation I would enjoy seeing bridal drugstore looks.

I didn’t have a base on at all today and put a little Luminoso on my cheeks… woke them right up! Love the L’Oréal bronzer too. So pretty. I love the Colourpop gel liners for the water line. They stay all day on me which is something! Love that pallet as well. So pretty.

The one thing that makes absolutely no sense to me.. colourpop has all these launches.. the super shocks are literally what put them on the map && yet they don't offer a build your own super shock palette. I don't know I guess I just can't understand when common sense is not used. I know I personally always forget about my single shadows. Super shock palettes would be a game changer. ANY clue why they don't do that? Also true duochrome supershocks need to be a thing. Easy peasy..

The only concern or suggestion I have is that when you are doing make up specially your lips viewers can not see anything because that color pop mirror blocks our view. I appreciate it if you don’t bring any mirror close to your face or don’t block the camera so we can see what you do. You are a true talented make artist, thanks again.

The neutrogena concealer conceals nothing. If you have slight discolor or none its good. It does have a great feel. I tried this foundation several times and several ways. It’s one that works for some and not others. It didn’t work for me 🤷♀️🤷♀️.

I’m so glad you did a review and featured the Milani glow drops. I know this product went viral a couple of years ago and then it’s falling off the wayside because so many new products come out it’s hard for other products to stay on trend, but this one is one that should always stay on trend. It is a beautiful product, it’s wonderful alone or under make up you can put it on specific points where you want to focus on hydration and a glow or use it all over. I also like to put it under my eyes. I am 57 with mature and maturing skin and this product is just hands-down the best dewy product I’ve ever used a little does go along way so it is about $20 retail which sounds like a lot but you get a generous portion and you don’t need to use a lot. It lasts a long time and it has a slight subdued, peachy, pink tone. It goes on, very sheer and clear, but that tiny little bit of peachy pink does help I think with color correcting a little bit. I’ve turned my mother who is almost 77 onto this and she is in love with it, and she gave it to one of her friends of the same age and, they looked stunning. We actually use this as not only make up but skin care and it’s one of the most underrated products I think currently on the market.
I’m in the UK and recently repurchased some of the NYX lipliner faves and it seems that they changed the colours 😭😭 has anyone spotted that too?
