It would be super interesting to see this at actual stores, go in and show us each product acting like you have to buy a full face for an event later that day and could only make it to one store and had to buy something there, Sephora, target, Ulta and Walgreens. It would ad the twist of limiting it to one stop and what they had in stock of what you liked!

Oh this is a hard one! I love makeup and have quite a collection. But below is what I would repurchase immediately if everything was lost.
Primer: typically my sunscreen and the La roche posay tinted sunscreen is a must for me. Foundation: L’Oréal true match. Concealer: Sephora best skin ever. Setting powder: makeup forever hd setting powder. Bronzer: Nars cream bronzer. Blush: Patrick Ta blush duo in she’s so La. Eyeshadow palette: Moira cosmetics chasing eternity palette. Eye liner: KVD tattoo eyeliner in black. Lash primer is a need: Maybelline Sky high tinted primer. Mascara: Milani anti gravity. Lip balm: Patchology lip service. Lip liner: makeup forever in anywhere caffeine. Lip stick: MAC lustreglass in hug me and thanks it’s MAC. lip gloss: cover girl yummy gloss in let’s get fizzical. Lastly setting spray: Sephora all day makeup spray.

This actually happened to me in April of 2020. I was assaulted and my makeup was stolen. The amount of anger I had about this made me feel ridiculous when I would talk about it, especially to people who don't care about makeup and aren't passionate about it like I am. I try not to think about it too much because it will just make me mad all over again.
So sorry that happened to you. Hope you were not injured. Hope also that you were able to replace your makeup. I was accosted once, and it is difficult to get over, as well as very angering. My best to yo.❤️

Ok, on the Nars foundation: I bought it. And, it’s very pretty. But, after an average work day (at an office!), I have spots that have rubbed off. Same primer, setting powder and spray as every other foundation, and the Nars always has spots missing by dinner time. The L’Oreal Infallible outlasts this foundation by hours. And, came with a pump. Any suggestions on how to make it last longer? I’d like to at least get thru the 1 bottle!!

Love the THRIVE tubing mascara! I am a nurse with sensitive eyes who works nights. This is one of the only mascaras that doesn't make my eyes dry out or itch after 15 hours. I am surprised that it isn't talked about more. Also I have had to repurchase all my make up (house burned) and your video is way more fun than my experience was! I had my makeup bag stolen out of my car (with other things) once so I lived this. It’s been years ago so it’s interesting what would change. Thank you for sharing this type of content. I agree with many others in that I would be interested in a skin care version of this. This is also great for considering when realizing all your makeup is severely expired 😳🤦♀️and needs to be replaced asap.
I would love to see a video like this with a budget limit of $100 - for everything, tools included! - there could be multiple videos -- walmart only, target only, cvs only, ulta only, Sephora only (not sure $100 would cut it, but it would be fun to try!) -- I think about the idea of traveling and you only have access to one store.

When you next buy that Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. take some packing tape (clear tape that's wide) and reinforce the lid by putting two pieces of tape in an X shape across the top (cut to fit). My lid is still going strong!
What is meant by tubing mascara? I've heard a few other content creators mention this. I thought they all were tubing mascaras because they all come in tubes. Can you please explain this to me?

I guess you might not be flying soon with a new baby in the house but if you were flying you would have to limit your "liquids" to nine items or less in small containers, which includes any gels or creams or mascaras! I am packing for a trip and wondering how people narrow down the list without going to powder versions of everything. Someday when you fly please make a video about what makeup/skincare you would bring for carry-on only luggage options.

This is really random but I depend on my Smashbox Cali Contour face palette a lot. For home and for travel it has everything. Especially love the contour shade in it, but it also has a nice blush, highlight and bronzer that you can also use on the eyes in a pinch

OK - lost everything...lets see...for the eyes - Bare Minerals Gen Nude (I am 66, white hair, blue eyes, cool complexion) and MIlani Luminoso Eye Palette. Lip: Buxom Dolly Dreamer/Liner Dangerous Dolly and at least one Maybelline Vinyl either 10 Lippy or 55 Royal, Setting Powder Kosas Cloudset in Airy for contour/bronzer I use LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation in DG7 - right now I not using a
"foundation" I use a tinted spf/moisturizer with a good concealer..I have several that work really well. Finally blush - oh my, I use Persona Multistick in Jam or Benefit Hoola. Oddly though, my 1st purchase would be my Australian Gold Botanical 50 Tinted Face - I mix the fair to light with a bit of the medium to tan - this goes on right after my serum & moisturizer (Paula's Choice).

Ali, I love this video! I have only watched one other TH-camrs version of this video, and it is really interesting and inspiring to see what everyone feels they would run out and purchase right away. Beyond the insight into great products, and the different ways, we all do our make up, it is interesting to me to see where everyone would feel the need to splurge on something less affordable right out of the gate.
I had a random idea for a new series based off of viewer, questionnaires or polls. I have no idea how doable it is, or whether it would get the interest that you need, or whether it’s worth the time and effort, because I can only imagine how time-consuming this could be! But: my idea is to , ask your viewers or friends or anyone really what I shape they think they have, and ask them what their ride or die make up routine looks like. The order they do their make up, if they had to only pick five products to use, which ones would they use, or if they only had 10 minutes to get ready what would they prioritize? I personally am so interested in whether people prioritize, the complexion, or the lips, or the eyes, or the eyebrows, and the eye shape specific, my make up routine is a particular interest because it’s stuff that no one else would ever think about unless they had that eye shape too.
I think actually I was kind of all over the place with that! Sorry. I am myself and most interested in the eye shape questions, but asking a broad base of viewers what products they would put on their face if they only had 10 minutes to get ready versus as much time as they wanted, is kind of a cool idea too!

- concealer... currently I mix my minis of hourglass vanish with new CT beautiful skin or ABH concealer. Don't have a holy grail yet 🥺
-AOA paw paw sponges or beauty blender
-CT airbrush setting spray (or evian/Avene water mist cans, those are the only ones that don't cause acne for me)
- brushes... a combination of BK beauty, sigma, and the half caked duo fibre brush for blush/bronzer.
- bareminerals original loose powder foundation in fair
- supergoop glowscreen or tula protect &glow sunscreen
- a tinted sunscreen, like bareminerals complexion rescue or Paula's Choice
- a pot or stick corrector for throwing on when I'm not wearing foundation but need to look not dead (lately bobbi brown stick corrector or glossier stretch, both great alone/without foundation, and horrible with a full face 🤷♀️)
-ooh! Green clean makeup remover. And a face halo round.
-I haven't been been wearing much eyeliner, but when I do I like a nice brown or rich burgundy shade (tynt makes a great one) that I can smudge out, and a pop of teal for the lower lash line. My fave was of course discontinued, but nyx and urban decay make decent options.

I had to start over make-up wise recently. The pandemic hit and August 26th 2020 i had a heart attack and double bypass open heart surgery. Needless to say, i didn't care about make-up. It all expired and i recently had to buy all new. I recently bought Nars pure radiant tinted moisturizer in light 3, Nars creamy concealer in medium 1.5 macadamia, milani eyeshadow primer, Milani baked blush in Luminoso, Milani eyeshadow palette in The Wine Down, Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in ebony, L'oreal lash paradise in blackest black. I need more, but will not buy all new make-up at once.

It was years ago, so today it's probably different. My five would be: 1.Moisturizer with SPF 2. Concealer 3. Mascara 4. Cheek/Lip Tint 5. Lib Balm

Unpopular opinion but I really didn't like the Morphe x Ariel brushes. Got the full set after seeing so many people raving about them, and had so much hair fallout, the wraps on the handles peeled/scratched super easily, and I just felt like the density didn't match the type of brush for quite a few (eg. who wants a super dense powder brush?!). Back to my RT babies and never been happier

This challenge is nice but you chose some products that are not necessarily available (now) when ready to purchase... I traveled to the US in December and the CVS shelves were empty..no NYX lip pencils, etc. Alternatives as options maybe fun for another post? Thanks!

I know it's hard to read every comment when you have a large following, but I hope you see this! The Rimmel Powders with the crappy packaging are actually meant to refill powder compacts!! There is a little hole on the bottom you can use to poke the pan out of the given packaging in order to pop the pan into a vintage compact. I honestly don't know if you can buy empty new powder compacts, but there are some gorgeous vintage ones on ebay. :)
The rimmel powder truly need change their packaging . Love the powder ,my holy grail but hate the lid . Its broke everytime i buy a new one😂
