So awesome man. This movie changed my life as well and got me into filmmaking at a very young age and now I do it for a living haha. Thank you for sharing!
it definitely felt the most realistic, Tobey’s is cool but it looks like he got attacked by a mob of grizzly bears lol it doesn’t look that realistic compared to Garfield’s.
Aw 🥹 this is so sweet and vulnerable. Movies have the power to change the world, but, more importantly, they have the power to change people. Raimi created something so imaginative, fun, and inventive, but moreso something that is deeply human, romantic, and burning with so much personal passion. And it has continued to touch and move people over 20 years later. We are so lucky to live in the universe where everything went right for these films to happen. They mean everything.
This was a special one. Thanks a lot for this. Watched a few days ago but didn't really have an answer for your final question. I wanted to answer something that *hits* me every time, like Ratatouille, but that isn't really your question. Your question is like.... Making me think about the bookmarks/signposts in our lives. We tend to break our lives down into different "eras" or "moments" -- and it's interesting how the entertainment we consume becomes engrained with the positive moments of whatever was happening in our lives at that time. For me, I spent a LOT of time rewatching the Back to the Future and Indiana Jones trilogy over and over again through my teens, which was a hard time in my life. I had only discovered them and given them the time of day after seeing the praise online and so many pop culture references to them in media like The Simpsons etc. BTTF, and Indiana Jones Trilogy are just, something that can bring me back to those bookmarks and signposts in a nostalgic, sad, yet positive way. I think that's what you're feeling out in these raw moments. It's a great review. Those two trilogies are to me, very similar to what the Spiderman trilogy is to you. It's also something I wish I could have been alive to see in theaters. Pretty sure I saw Spiderman 1+2 in theaters and I was only 11 years old, it was a great film at the time and still is.
Not a movie but the game COD IW zombies is one of the biggest parts of my childhood and truly changed me as a person, shoutout to all the developers that worked on such a masterpiece of a game.
I probably won’t be able to see the re release in theaters. But, even then I’m still happy to experience the film over and over whenever I can. While I think 2 is better overall, I think 2002 is my favorite spidey movie of all time. Maybe even film of all time next Godzilla Minus one. Such a magnificent craft and achievement in comic book cinema that means so much to me. Remember watching it over and over when I was younger. Still have that widescreen edition dvd lol

TASM 1 Battle damage is probably my favorite. When you reach the end of the game and your suit is messed up like heck, it just feels awesome
