I'M a 68 year old woman now!!! Regarding this particular song, if I remember correctly, HE WROTE IT around 1994 or 1996, and gave it to THALIA to sing. She sang it as the closing song in a Telenovela (don't remember which one), but the Telenovela was about the love she had for a guy, and gives God thanks for such love. She didn't include it in one of her albums until much later... I think she included it in her 6th or 7th album. Years later she also recorded this song in English Both recordings of this song became big hits. FYI... THALIA is married to TOMMY MOTTOLA, who was Chairman and CEO of SONY Music Entertainment, parent of the COLUMBIA LABEL, for nearly 15 years. As I'm sure you already know... "JUANGA" wrote many songs for so many other singers, and such songs became big hits. HE HAD 6 SONS. 4 of them having a version in different languages of the name Juan. The mother of 4 of his children (Iván Gabriel, Joan Gabriel, Hans Gabriel and Jean Gabriel) is Laura Salas.
