Mike's Ten Tec 422, Test for CHEERY up syndrome

This was a test to see how well the Ten Tec 422 works , SLAMMING it with FM , then SSB to see if the tubes cherry up. They did not, not even on FM at like 2 minutes key down. So maybe you loaded it wrong? We will make a time when you can come show me how you load it. If it is not loaded right (to much current) they may cheery up.

Hi Bill, I suppose this unit had a shorted pass transistor on the bias? Seems to be common with these amps.
