Thanks Joel! I’m still on the original RPM and when the Comp 4.0 came out recently I was wondering if it’s time I finally upgrade! I love the smoothness of the EVO but like you I’m just so used to the RPM handle. I’ll wait for a more exciting colour (gold?) and will grab one when they have it!
Will I be alright if I have a roping mat, I want a pair of these, but don’t wanna run through the cable by taking them outside but I can’t rope indoors either
1.RPM 2.SR-2S 3.SR 343 If you are a CrossFit person, get the WOd nation Speed rope. But, if you are competitive, I'd say RPM or the RX Evo series. Hope this helps!
@@MrGoturo33 the actual build and internals are the same either way, you just get more grippy knurling and a bare cable with the comp. alternatively you could get the session and get a bare cable for it, would be pretty much all you’d need unless if you sweat a ton, then you might want the deeper knurl.
@@AMRAP thank you. You are awesome for replying on Saturday night. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I was unsure about the internals because I've only been able to test out the session 4 and really liked it. I just wanted to make sure the comp 4 was the same except for the knurling!
I am wondering which one is better for begginers session 4 or comp 4 . This sound is really bad on session is it in all of them or just a bad luck on this one
@@AMRAP thanks for ur fast answer i already ordered comp4 because of the noise on your review with covered extra coated cable ... i did it two fast :) what is good for beginers? may be i have to order another rope to learn to jump first
Hey thanks for the great review, I have a question, my gym has an RPM branded jump rope but the handles are noticeably smaller than the new session 4.0 I bought, which ones are the ones with small handles?
Sweet! Was just looking at speed ropes. Thanks for the review!
Great video, great info. Thanks!
Awesome vid Joel. Thanks
Just got the comp 4 and highly recommend. The texture on it is better than the session 4. They both have bearings now.

Joel!!! It’s a good moment for buying RPM 4.0 comp? It will come 5.0 soon? Or any discount??
Thanks for your videos!!

What is the cable u keep mentioning can you give me the full name pls
Are the handles supposed to have a hole at the bottom? Like no cover with the rpm logo
Yes
How do you keep the rope from kinking? No matter how I wrap mine up, it always develops a kink towards the bottom.
I use cable ties to keep mine in order..

This is how I do it: th-cam.com/video/s-rOzcvBvHM/w-d-xo.html
Hey Joel, I'm still stuck on either the SR-2S, SR-343, or RPM 4.0. Price aside, how would you rate those in order in terms of brute performance?
1.RPM
2.SR-2S
3.SR 343

As a competitive athlete what would be preferred.. Comp 4 or Session 4?
Comp for sure
@@AMRAP thank you! Could I get a quick run down on why? Getting ready to buy as we speak lol

Neither are what i would recommend for beginners but session would be preferred.

Hi, greetings from PR! Wich cable length set up do you use on the Evo Rope ?
Bryan Cartagena I use the speed metal rope
As Many Reviews As Possible thanks. You’re at 5’9 height, do you use a 8’8 cable or a 9’0 ?
Bryan Cartagena I do the 8’8, but started with a 8’10, sorry forgot that part!
As Many Reviews As Possible thanks a lot. Appreciate your knowledge !
Awesome 🤩
