- Hey, we received our new 1080 and it wont calibrate. Checked all setting on transmitter, changed channels on receiver to ensure the throttle etc was working correct.
When you press the set button to calibrate neutral it wont beep.
Any jelp would be great guys though i think the esc is faulty
Switch the motor wires had the same problem switched the motor wires works fine got all the beeps
Can you tell me how. Or youtube link ?
I had the same issue over the weekend. Get a hobbywing programmer box. Plug into esc. Select the last option on box. Reset to default mode. After that calibration will be easy.
Some ecs need the control trim set center for this.
If you can on your transmitter set channel 2 to reverse. I just did it and was able to calibrate normally
thanks for info
What
I have the same problem, in the end what should I do to make it work? did you find the solution?
What did the problem end up being? I'm having same problem with trx4
have you fixed it yet? mine isnt working either
Once its all set up and calibrated its a great wee esc. it can be a right PITA calibrating it though
It’s because you need to flip the receiver cord, just flip it around on channel 2
Change rotation of the motor on the transmitter.
What ended up being the solution? I got the same problem with 1080 and Traxxas TQi receiver.
Mine was just working for two days straight now it suddenly quit working and is now only flashing red on esc thought I pinched a wire snipped it and hardwired the wires back together and same thing also tried plugging it into another bec no fix Idk what to do
Flip the wires upside down in the receiver
The controller has to be on
How did you fux it. Mine to
hello my friend,
maybe i'm gonna save your life !!! Maybe not...
i have the 1080 ESC and a FS GT3B, and it was the same issue for me... This is what i did : in the normal way, the 1080 calibrates NEUTRAL - FORWARD - BACKWARD , but with the GT3B you can't !!! the only way is to calibrate NEUTRAL - BACKWARD - FORWARD and it's not good !!! So you need to reverse thrust on radio ( TH REV ) AND reverse the 2 wires from the motor ( blue / yellow ).
Now you can do calibration as it should be : NEUTRAL - FORWARD - BACKWARD.
Hope it helps...
guigui de Nice So put the blue wire on the positive side
Dude ur literally a lifesaver holy cow thanks man I was right about to give up 😅
I’m having the same issue
have you fixed it yet? mine isnt working either
Have you switched the motor wires I got one did the same thing till I switched the motor wires
