Ben, I have a strategy/tip to know where the enemy is. Look at the amount of last-hits they have and if it goes up and you don't see them in lane, they're normally farming jungle. If you look at their inventory and if they start buying and you don't see them then they're buying which can give you an edge if you want to gank them.
This is not is not s hate comments but lil tip, always check on jungle almost every if not every other minion clear, i use to play like you where I would just focus on farm, remember its a team game and a kill is as important as farm its all a numbers game, and save your ult for team fights only or if you need it to get that last one for the ace

When I play WP joule I buy sorrowblade then 3 lucky strikes and defense on th side and I would be recking the enemy team. Upgrade two of them to tyrants and aim on upgrading the other to either breaking point or the other speed attack build and I'm OP

When in lane you always want an escape and/ or a way to slow or stun the enemy laner. And yes, I know that the thunder strike will scale on crits when maxed but he wasn't gonna max ult.... He builds crit late game when both his A and B are maxed out. Consider that before leaving hate.

Wp joule is strong but personally I prefer cp. frostburn broken myth shatterglass and a good ult is nearly always a team wipe

Krul is better if you know how to play him. Bf needs team or he would die. While krul can 1v3 sometimes if he didnt get kited
