Hello, how did it feel with Special 1 compared to Special 2 gearing? Guessing it depends on how the stages are to. Seems like you drive pretty fast despite it is a 'milder' engine specification. Maybe easier to keep 'on cam' than with the 8,3 camshaft.
Sometimes I have drove Special 1 also. Its okay, but not so much "Race- feeling". Its more question about power and torque engine can give you. I drove some rallies also Special 2 with Std 8:39 Final gear and topspeed round 200km/h. Nou problem with 2 litres injection engine. But engine like I have now, 6:35 is "Must to have" option.
