I currently have 5 Trivisa knives and I can say they are my favorite budget knife brand to buy from. In order of when I purchased them: I have the Antliae, the Sagitta, the Aries, the Aur, and just recently picked up the UMa. I gotta say, they are 5 of my favorite budget knives out of the 30 or so iI own. (I say budget even though the UMa has premium materials, bc I got it for 40.00 on a crazy deal.) What I love about them is how they are all totally different kinds/styles of knives, yet everyone I own is amazing at what it is. They are also some of the sharpest knives with the best edge geometry I own. Which makes them very easy to sharpen back to a hair popping edge. Three of the 5 I own are button locks, and have some of the best button lock/ fidgeting action (just behind Civivi and on occasion CJRB). The Sagitta is a crossbar lock and, after swapping one of the omega springs for a slightly lighter one, has perfect action and detent (which is very rarely seen on crossbar locks, however they nailed it). The last two things that make them my favorite brand, are the materials and price. First ill mention that I've never paid full price for a Trivisa (even though I definitely would if it came to it). However, bc of all of their amazing sales, I've gotten some of the best deals ever on Trivisa's. Like 23.00 for the Aries, and most recently 40.00 for the UMa. I mean 40.00 for s35vn and titanium bolsters, with the build quality and fir and finish is insane! Even the rest of the ones I own, even though they aren't s35vn and titanium, they are still 14c28n and micarta. The fact I haven't paid over 40.00 for any of them is unheard of in todays knife market. TRIVISA IS THE SH$T!!!!
Yes... More Trivisas please.. thanks for reviewing this one, I've been curious. I have many of their knives but the ones that I find myself carrying the most are the Columba and Ares. I think I need to check this one out next! Today I'm carrying my Fox Blackbird. Thanks for keeping on top of things brother!
I do appreciate it when a reviewer takes the time to talk about handle composition. So thanks, G. I'm carrying my Civivi Conspirator with an acid wash and tumbled NITRO-V blade and black Micarta handle scales, also carrying my Civivi Vision FG with a black NITRO-V blade and green Micarta scales.
I thanked you for providing the handle thickness of one knife you reviewed. It may not be a measurement that the majority of viewers can about. It really shouldn't be the reviewers responsibility to provide all measurements. The manufacturers should include it on their websites.
Thanks brother I appreciate that. It's not a big deal to include it, I just want people to enjoy the layouts of the videos, whatever I need to do to accomplish it
you guys are fun, i love yall lol. i get comments from people who hate liner and frame locks and they want BL CBL knives. you guys hate them lol. i love it :)
That's the best-looking Trivisa that I've ever seen. I thought it was a Vosteed or a Kizer at first. I love aluminum because it can be anodized to so many colors. I consider handle thickness to be just as useful as blade stock thickness. Packing my OG Stout, Finch Flint, and a little custom fixie. Great review Gweg!
New to the knife game! Do you have any vids on the types of metal used in the blades? That's the biggest thing I am completely clueless on at the moment.
Go here:: knifesteelnerds.com/2021/10/19/knife-steels-rated-by-a-metallurgist-toughness-edge-retention-and-corrosion-resistance/ That will give you insight to steels and their benefits etc
That’s the best looking knife Trivisa has ever put out IMO. I find Trivisa knives to be too fat to carry comfortably and that one seems like it’s way too heavy for what it is. I thought I heard you say $65 for this and if you did I’d say that’s way too high for the materials. They are getting into some stiff competition at that price point. We don’t need handle and blade stock thickneses. Just show it in your hand at different profiles. Take care 😃👊🏼
Still available at White Mountain knives. Haven’t checked it on Trivisa’s website. Price is the same but gets here faster from White Mountain I already own the blacked out blade green Micarta version which is about $13 less and I think lighter. But I like the look of this one. So I pulled the trigger a second time I own several of their knives, including. The Corvus, Dor, Antilae And the first hornet. I did have the misfortune of buying their first crossbar lock on the intruder It was an Awful knife, impossible to deploy and mischaracterized. It was said to have titanium scales with carbon fiber in layers, but in truth, the scales were made out of steel, and there was a small section of titanium with a smaller section of carbon fiber laid on top of it. I’ve decided to put the intruder behind me because of my success with the other models from them I’ve bought
interesting! i havent seen that one, i did have a crossbar from them that was nice but faulty, the flipper would come in contact with the crossbar. it was odd lol. that was the only goofy one ive had from them - id say a majority of the time they are doing great work. they are doing their own designs and own oem work. im here for that
I'm certainly doing everything I can to make the videos successful. I actually plug in 3 separate thumbnails, TH-cam shows you the one it thinks you want to see.

Handle thickness is very important when, like I, the person is used to carrying knives like the quiet carry drift or Rosie. I love a thinner profile.
Wow. Maybe the 2md trivisa design i actually like. Except its a cross bar lock.
That’s the best part.
I’m so over cross bar locks. And button locks.
you guys are fun, i love yall lol. i get comments from people who hate liner and frame locks and they want BL CBL knives. you guys hate them lol. i love it :)

I like hefty knives I know there in my pocket or at my waistline, those light small knives get lost so easily
im on the same page brother. LW knives have their place but i typically like a heffier bugger
Manix 2 lightweight

I don’t hate it, but this one also doesn’t blow up my skirt. Sometimes good knives just don’t hit with me for whatever reason.
Ay man ain't nothing wrong with that. Some times for whatever reason they just don't click
You lost me at 14c28n.
Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother 👍⚔✝🇺🇸
Interesting what don't you like about 14c?
If it was closer to 3.5oz at least sub 4, it'd b an immediate purchase, but it's not...
It's a hefty boy for sure. Thanks brother
I see you have taken a page out of metal complex and jered neeves' book with the cringey thumbnails
I'm certainly doing everything I can to make the videos successful. I actually plug in 3 separate thumbnails, TH-cam shows you the one it thinks you want to see.
cool lookig kife for sure thanks for sharing
No problem 👍 thank you brother
