A celebration of the retirement of Nick Freudenberg, a distinguished CUNY public health faculty member since 1979.
On December 3, 2024, we honored Professor Freudenberg’s remarkable career and reflected on the contributions he, his colleagues, students, and CUNY's public health programs have made to New York City and beyond over 45 years.
As CUNY SPH approaches its tenth anniversary and CUNY public health programs celebrate 50 years of educating New York City's public health workforce, this event provides a fitting moment to reflect on the past and look toward the future.
Professor Freudenberg and several colleagues shared insights from their work and invited all participants to join a conversation on the future of public health at CUNY.
