I have had an old bakelite buckle that I have been hoarding for years. I think it has finally found it’s home. Thanks for the inspiration. Your pouch is very pretty 🌸

I love the warm brown and green colors and I especially love the vintage closure. It may have been fiddly, but you did a wonderful job attaching it.

Love that closure. I have a few vintage buckles I'd love to use that way. Is the glue making it harder to stitch? For the needle to go thru the thicknesses?
I only put the glue on lightly, it does make it slightly stiffer - I’ve just bought some appliqué pins so trying these instead of glue- thank for your lovely comments 🌸🌸🌸
