@@sfmc98 Yes. Their band travelled with Elvis' band. A small 4-5 piece, but used the orchestra as well.

@@UltimateElvisGuitar Ohh interesting. I've never heard a full, complete Elvis concert, despite searching. The recordings never seem to include them.
So if I understand correctly, it was the Stamps, the Imperials then intermission, then Elvis? I always thought their act would be longer.
And what a nice gig for all the musicians.

@@UltimateElvisGuitar I just, well, 10-15 minutes ago (And counting...), was posting ANOTHER reply/post about to DISAPPEAR into cyberspace, exploding into NOTHINGNESS, after putting ALL of my thoughtful and BRILLIANT, thoughts to..."PAPER", and I frustratingly gave up, but here I am (I was posting on the message icon thread, a lot more sensitive to scroll and touchy...), albeit, a more condensed (It isn't ANYMORE!!!!!) reply, but anyway's, thanks a lot for the info, and I just mentioned how great it is to get the WHOLE concert feeling (The Sweets just said "feeling", my telepathetic powers going full blast again...), as well as in, Elvis in Concert, with the pre-concert vendors selling of popcorn, pop and SUPER ELVIS SOUVENIERS, EVERYBODY loves ELVIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Elvis puts a tribute to Stevie Wonder in his show. That's why Elvis is the King! Plus the Colonel allowed this! This should be put forward as additional proof that Elvis was no racist!

This is a very well known soundboard recording where the pre-show was recorded. I've showed this personally to Estelle Brown as I perform with her, and she was super happy to hear the arrangements from their opening show section.
