Hello. Thank you so much for this detailed video about the setup of "Ultimate Member" plugin. I have installed and also successfully setup this plugin in my WordPress website.
To make a user profile page visible only to logged-in users access the user profile page and scroll down to the Ultimate Member settings box. Then, enable the content restriction option and select 'Logged in users' under the access settings.
Hi, check your theme's mobile menu settings and ensure it's not restricted by visibility rules. Also, try clearing cache or inspecting for CSS conflicts. Hope that helps!
Amazing video. I have a question. I want to hide the page Register and register the members by myself as admin. Do you know how I can do ? In a few words I want to realize the membership page as you did, but only showing the option of login, because I will create the member by myself.
@@emiwebs Nice, can they also make posts for a custom post type that I have created? And how do they do it, through the wordpress interface or through a form?
You may have long since gotten your question resolved but in case not, and for anyone else, you can use wp user frontend (wpuf) to allow the users to create posts, and use pods for custom taxonomies. Be aware that wpuf only displays 24 taxonomies so if you have say, 50 main categories and more than 24 of them have a list of subcategories you will have to double up and add a prefix to be able to use them in the wpuf post form for that taxonomy. It's really easy to use though. Use UM to register them to whatever roles you assign. Then for WPUF, in settings you can designate which roles can use that specific form. You can have some categories for one group to post content and other categories for another group, and even other groups that can publish in all categories. Use PODS to set the individual taxonomies, e.g., Cars is a custom taxonomy, Months, Colors. Each pod has a list of models, the 12 months, however many colors. Create the form in wpuf blank forms, add whatever fields you want to include, drag each category taxonomy you want to use, decide if it's a dropdown, check, radio, multiple selection, text, etc. Save the form. Choose what user roles can use the form to publish. Save it. Then make a post to add the post form to. You can further restrict it by using UM to lock the post forms down to their specific user roles. Nobody else can access it but admins and the user role assigned to it. It's way more intuitive than writing that, but those 3 work perfectly together to register and allow members to publish content, and restrict content to specific roles.

You would need to create two types of roles (e.g., "Company" and "Individual") and assign access based on those roles. On the registration form, include a field where users can select whether they are a company or an individual. Based on their selection, the appropriate role should be automatically assigned.
