Rewatch, again. 😖 But at least it is still Sunday, and not some random day later in the week. Great show as usual. Thanks so much. 🎄😊

3 hour show for the win!
Another TGA show concluded. You guys are the best.
Also I think Hoeg should stop using Twitter. No "reasonable minds can differ" discussions can be had over there. And I'm worried about his sanity.

Thanks Expert! We've tried to get him to come to Bluesky where you can actually have meaningful gaming conversations but he won't listen! Tell him!

A proper award show should be 33% consumer vote, 33% industry vote and 33% media vote. It would also be hard to include a Japanese/Chinese panel because as we can see Western games don't get played over there (sometimes even banned outright in China), unlike in Western markets where we consume East/West games.

      That's a fair point Sam!

I agree with Hoeg's sentiment on Dispatch. To me it looks like bad millennial writing, the choices seem to not matter, they look to only offer you a choice on how much snark and sarcasm you want to use (again bad millennial writing). The writing in Telltale's The Walking Dead was phenomenal, sadly it seems nothing has carried over to this game.
I've been playing a lot of narrative driven, choice based, visual novel games lately. With all the bad writing in AAA games over the past few years, its refreshing to play games where good/great writers can showcase their talents.
Also agree with Hoeg (is something wrong with me?) on his sentiment of ND under Druckmann.

If you agree with Hoeg too much, I'd be concerned. Yes. lol nah - I get the viewpoint. The funniest part about Bitcast for me as host is that it feels like Hoeg tends to lean on the pessimistic view of upcoming games, Travis tends to be an optimist or at least "open" to them, and I'm always in the middle like "Could be good, could be bad, we'll see!"

The Witcher 4 in 2029??? Hahaha. Btw CDPR CEO said The Witcher 1 Remake comes after The Witcher 4. So 2030? The Witcher 3 was CDPRs First AAA Game ever and was in development for 3.5 years with 250 inexperienced developers. So you telling me The Witcher 4 will Take 9 years (development started in 2020)? With all this experince? The Witcher 3 is a way easier Game to Develop than Cyberpunk 2077 ( that reststarted development in 2016). Analyst expect The Witcher 4 in 2026/2027 btw. Because The Witcher 4 is in Unreal Engine 5. Epic Games also helps (which is very very rare), over 400 experienced CDPR developers that shipped multiple AAA Games, etc.

Haha - trust me, we're all hoping for it to come as soon as possible!

@SeasonedGaming So do you think The Witcher 4 with all the Veteran experience will take longer than The Witcher 3 (First AAA Game) and Cyberpunk 2077 (First GTA Like Game) COMBINED?

@@exysa2798 I honestly don't know. Nobody does, and anyone claiming to know is fooling themselves. The studio jettisoned a lot of talent after Cyberpunk 2077 with at least 3 new studios being opened from ex-CDPR talent. Given changes, new engine, new game world, the weight of expectations, knowing it has to launch in great shape, etc.... who knows. We all hope it's sooner than later but debating on hypotheticals is a little pointless. Let's just all hope for the best.
