Basically exactly what Perron was supposed to be but he’s been a massive disappointment. A top 4 veteran dman is needed badly and a veteran back up goalie who’s an upgrade on Forsberg. Absolutely zero need for Kreider.

Once Kreider and Cuylle are gone to possibly try to rid yourselves of the Zibanejad contract, the Rangers wont have anywhere near as much to offer Ottawa for Brady. Besides, Staios has too much respect to trade Brady to a team in the midst of a teardown and rebuild. He went through that already, and then you lose him to free-agency to the St.Louis Blues. At least in Ottawa, Schneider will have a chance to excel and be that top 4 D-man on the right side Ottawa needs and trade out Artyom Zub.

You aren’t wrong they’ll have to lose some key assets to get rid of Mika, but they still have more than enough to make a serious offer. Whether the owner is difficult or not remains to be seen. Everyone is on the table at this point. However the only 2 guys I wouldn’t trade under any circumstance is cuyille and Perrault

He’s good for maybe 20 goals and 40 points now. MAYBE if the price tag was extremely cheap, like a C level prospect and picks. But the Rangers are obviously going to want too much for him. And even then…he’s grossly overpaid and has too much term left. This is a hard pass.
