Yvie’s wig reveal was so unexpected and effective because everyone assumed it was a wig fail and that she would sashay away. The look on Ru’s face said it all until Yvie returned to a standing position and shook her head to let everyone know it wasn’t an accident. Brilliant!

I wasn't a fan of the looks, but it was smooth... AND, I appreciate that she was courteous enough to pick the wig up off the stage so that no one tripped on it. Major points. (And the clap was cute).

One of my absolute favourites. I don't think I've ever seen Ru as excited by something that was happening on the runway before. It had me gagged and gooped.
I adore brook lynn. She s literally the poster child for good drag. Absolutely gorgeous makeup, always fashion outfits, lip sync assassin to the core and out of drag he s insanely hot
The reveal was kind of basic: a poncho and an Afro falling off… however she ATE THAT RUNWAY. 👑

God roxxxy’s reveal was so iconic because around season 5, taking wigs off in lip syncs was seen as a death sentence cause too many queens were taking their wigs off or had them fall off during lip syncs and they were almost always the ones sent home, so when hers started to come off I was like “oh god no don’t take off your wig” and she had the other one underneath for the first time in drag race and I was screaming lmao

The look was great, but not the reveal. It was slow and clunky, and the two hairstyles don't go with one another like some of the others. Ben and Shangie had the best reveals there, followed by Aja and Trixie.
Of course they did a wig reveal video after Bob revealed a HUMAN under her wig!

That was probably the other determent to secure a second crown, besides the hall of fame was completly white and in the final were three colored queens and one white. Imagine trinity only would had won. But she. And manil ruled the season. Ao sad what Noami did to her (but also woukd had monet done).

Agreed but I bet it's because it's not one of the rupaul judged seasons (and tbh not even the uk or down under seasons are here mainly cuz I don't think anyone else did a wig reveal on those)

these are some fun categories i came up with for the wig reveals. some are similar and these are also personal opinions:
1. most gamechanging: roxxxy, sasha
2. most iconic: sasha, roxxxy
3. most JAW DROPPING: brooklyn
4. most unexpected: monet, brooklyn, roxxxy
5. most smooth: peppermint, brooklyn, yvie, monique
6. most hysterical AND most creative: monet
7. most underrated: peppermint
8. most accurate (timed): peppermint

Honestly, I think Sasha should be in every category except underrated lol. Her ruveal was accurate, smooth, unexpected, hysterical, jaw dropping and creative.

the way Yvie's ruveal is kinda underrated cause the entire lipsync is so good that we just can't focus on certain moments, but on the whole thing
For other compilations they include Canada. This compilation should've included Carmen (Spain)'s finale lipsync wig reveal, but the franchises from non English speaking countries are 2nd class for this channel.
I think they don’t include those shows of the franchise because Ru isn’t an exact host, he didn’t sit in sweatpants behind the judging table lmao, so it’s not included unfortunately. Would be cool to see though
