New Roborock customer (S8 MaxV Ultra). After the first use I must say we are impressed. We are looking to resolve a couple of minor inconveniences in the use of the Robot.
1. When using the SmartPlan, it intelligently cleans the different rooms and keeps the bathrooms for last. When moving between bathrooms it keeps the mopping pad down on the floor, it would be ideal if we could have it lift the mopping pad when moving between bathrooms to avoid cross contamination in the rooms it travels through to get to the next bathroom.
2. If the door of a room is closed it will map it as a wall. if we choose a room clean will it be able to access that room? or only if we choose full clean every time?
3. if using a full clean with SmartPlan, we would like to program to clean the mop pad after every bathroom and kitchen clean. the rooms themselves we would maintain the interval of 20 minutes or more in order to use less water. Currently it will clean the pad so much that it depletes the entire clean water bin in one full clean job of about 2 hrs.
4. Sometimes the robot bumps the Lidar hard when it thinks it can go under furniture that ends up being too low for it. for now we are using no go zones to avoid that. we have noticed the robot does not go under some furniture that it can fit under, how can we make the robot clean under those?
If there are some settings we can use to resolve these, please share :)

Unfortunately, in Eastern Europe these products are unaffordable for the majority. Are you planning to lower the price over the years to make them affordable for the lower classes?

I have the S7 MaxV Ultra for almost 2 years now. The robot is 10/10 but my only BIG problem with Roborock is that I'm unable to find genuine parts. The support kept suggesting links to AliExpress and these parts were clearly inferior replacements compared to the ones I've got originally installed in it (at least in Spain).... I saw in US you can buy replacement directly from Roborock. Are you going to improve this in the future?

How does the dirt detect functionality work? Does the robot detect the spot that was dirty during mopping and come back for a second time to that spot?
During mop washing, detection continuously checks howdirty the mop is toadjust mop-washing duration, for optimal cleanliness.
In heavily soiled areas, the floors will be mopped again to ensure a perfectclean.
When is it available?? Can't wait to get my hands on it

It looks like the same problem I have with S7 MaxV Ultra, is going to be on this new vacuum. I never refill the water tank on the vacuum on my own, because it auto fills it, but today, I was looking at the cashback offer, and cleaning it up for pictures, and there is brown build up or mold/mildew in the tank! So I have been cleaning my floors with dirty water! gross! I have found the same brown mildew in my clean water tank too, but Today is the first time I even looked at the vacuum's water tank. Please come out with a better solution to add to the Roborock products! It says you are only allowed to use Roborock cleaning solution, so now I don't know what to do!

I have the current version of this vacuum. It cleans beautifully but it will not operate with the app on a 5G internet connection. I can not use any of the features so not worth the money. It seems like they could easily fix the problem by fixing the app. The app is horrible. Will never buy this brand again.
It can only clean the entire house each time. Cannot clean a certain room if I only want to do that. Can’t use the mop features because I can’t use the app.
Thanks for your feedback. We regret and sorry that the vacuum only supports to connect 2.5G Wi-Fi currently. You can contact the vacuum via physical buttons, for example, you can start/stop it to clean the floor. We've forwarded it to our R&D team. Hopefully, they will be able to manage it with 5G Wi-Fi in the near future.

Thanks for your comments. Normally, it's suggested for you to connect the device to your home Wi-Fi via the app. Then, you can select room cleaning and mop settings on the App. If you cannot use the app, please control the device via physical buttons. It will vacuum and mop the floor at the same time by default once the mop pad is attached and water tank is refilled by the dock.
@@roborockglobal yes, but I have hardwood floors, tile and carpet. Would it just mop all three with using the buttons? I wouldn’t want my carpet mopped. Spot cleaning just does a tint section.Your app just wants the vacuum to be my wifi and that doesn’t work. If I connect as shown on app, it tells me there is no internet. That’s because it replaces my internet with the vacuum. The app needs to show it as an added device and it might connect.
