My 2022 Vaquero was delivered on January 30th. All that I can say is WOW!!! I have been riding my beloved 2000 HD FXST for last 22 years, this bike is a dream come true. $10,000 less expensive than a comparable HD Road Glide. This bike is the perfect base for any long trip. All that I have done so far is add a 1.5 inch handlebar riser and a riders backrest. I still need a seat. I recommend that you get your ECU re flashed to get rid of the constant popping from the exhaust on de-celleration and the very jerky feel of the throttle by wire settings. 1,450 miles in 8 weeks and I am as happy as I can be.
I am beyond eternally pissed that Kawasaki dose not sell those in Switzerland and EU anymore. This is my dream bike at dream price. Puts into perspective how overpriced HD/Indians are.
@@quasimoto4424 Sorry to hear that. It's my first "bagger" after riding a 79' KZ1000 ST for most of my riding career, and I love it. For the price, you really can't beat it. I bought a leftover 21' this year for my first "bagger". Given everything I priced in HD & Indian, I'm not disappointed regarding the bike. I'm leaving it stock for the most part, bought the back rest/luggage rack so my wife will ride w/me, but I added the power supply on the fairing, and I'm tempted to replace the windshield. Given all the road construction going on here, it's handled awesome. IE cheese grater & bumps.

Kawasaki's ive owned are totally reliable.....800 Vulcan, Nomad, zx14, zx14r.....top bikes. Now I'm searching for a batwing fairing for my Yamaha.
Really good video, just got this same bike in California. So far really happy. Thais is a good looking bike and it does have plenty of power. I have owned six Harleys, since 1992. This bike is excellent. The price and ride is perfect. It is well balanced and great on the open hwy.

Hello! V-Twins are not known for putting out a lot of horsepower. Most 1700-1800cc V-twins are only commonly putting out roughly 79-85hp. That's why we always hear of folks dumping loads of $$$ into building their V-Twins up.

Great bike, ugly as homemade sin. Kawasaki can’t seem to understand only a few minority numbers like that all blacked out crap look. Put some color and chrome back on the bike. Just might sell a few more. Sad too see a manufacturer has a good thing but screws up the rest .

It was designed to have that classic look
@@brodavid9960 that’s fine, but that design is keeping me from buying it.
@@brodavid9960 They could still have the classic look with bluetooth couldn't they?
@@AlexRides808 , most people would use their phones and a phone mount or a Garmin (for example) coz sometimes that's still the better option than the factory equipped. Then you have always the latest updates and you have portability of phone on mount and of course take with you.
Pretty cool bike
Yeah wish i would have bought one of these rather than my 19 electraglide.
Is it liquid cooled?
Of Course
Hi, Ben. Great review. Is the clutch hydraulic or cable?
Hey Brother! Thank you so much! Hydraulic clutch on this bike.
Looks like a great bike, but I absolutely hate it when manufacturers design bikes with side-opening saddlebags.
What is the price for this Bad boy KWVNV
These are $17,599!
These are not fast movers of the show room floor. Wait a few months and dealers will bring the price down and drop the add on fees.
Nice video
Thank you!!
top speed???
Does it have Bluetooth connectivity for the phone?
No but you can buy a programmer off amazon that works with the controls
I have a 2011 like this bike like he said it's a great bike as far as Bluetooth there's a power plug-in on one side right below your compartment I just use one of them plugins that Bluetooth to my phone to it and then you can use all your handlebar controls to turn it up and turn it down also it has a system that turns down the stereo if you want when you slow down for in town red lights I must say I've had this bike for seven years I've looked at many others would not part with this one
Also another feature I really really like is you insert the key into one side of the bike and you can pop the seat off no tools required
why would they make the bags open sideways...smh
I would buy the bike, however its too simple for me. Kawa should have added more modern electronics and toys to magnet all type of riders. Also, what happened to lots of accessories? To be honest and for the price, this is a great machine for a rider who wants a bagger with less dollars to spend. You just can't go wrong with Kawa.
I wired up a Garmin XT, stream music, calls from my phone. Just wish Garmin would work with Google Maps
That's a good price a hd road glide 30k
Only 17.999? CRAZY
But still I love this bike...just wish it came with a better head unit
Really. Looks like something off a lawn tractor.
I want
Did they ever fix the issue with the bike running lean
Hey there! To be honest, I was never made aware of the Vaqueros running lean. But the one I rode here seems to be running just fine! That's not to say there aren't some lean runners out there for sure.
@@benattwiggcycles thanks for the reply i had a Vulcan 900 brand new changed headers and air intake power commander pro 2 dyno after dyno couldn’t stop it from running lean it piss me off i sold the bike and said to myself nope nope nope i couldn’t get the gains to stick some times the bike would just cut off or shut off from cruising put it back stock ran fine then sold
The factory's ALL tune to run lean to meet MPG. Pull the ECU, not hard at all on a Kawasaki, and send it to Ivan in Rock Hill, SC.
@@SGTJDerek in Greenville, SC
cant find one near me
Same, Nothing around anymore.
I just bought a new 2021 left over at the dealer..They are still around just have to scour the dealerships..
Ain’t no way this a 1700 with only 80 hp my 650 has 65hp
Hello! V-Twins are not known for putting out a lot of horsepower. Most 1700-1800cc V-twins are only commonly putting out roughly 79-85hp. That's why we always hear of folks dumping loads of $$$ into building their V-Twins up.
Beautiful 😍
Hello there, just bought one, 2021, excellent motorcycle in every way, but 1 note, im 65 yrs old , started with a Rupp mini bike in 1968 and been riding since, this ecu is HORENDOUS!!! Should have NEVER been released like this. Terrible throttle response, excessive heat, popping galore on deceleration, dead spots on low speed maneuvers, ivan reflash or power commander 6 a absolute must, i understand emissions and save the planet but this bike should not leave the factory running like this. SHAME ON KAWASAKI!
I just discovered one, my god! I'm sick of harley's bullshit, my next one 4 sure!
I love the idea and price but baggers aren't my thing. I want a Kawasaki cruiser with the 1700. No fairing, bags, or windshield.
Get a Nomad then
But do they habe hydralic lifters? Lol
What a shame kawi never did anything to improve it in any way.
If it ain’t broke then don’t try and fix it.
Kawasaki owns 40% of hd anyway.
Although these are great bikes..... Kawasaki STILL CAN'T figure out how to put Bluetooth on their baggers like all other manufacturers.
I have a 2012 vaquero and if I could change anything about it I would rather have a CD player
Just needs bluetooth and it would be perfect
Great bike, ugly as homemade sin. Kawasaki can’t seem to understand only a few minority numbers like that all blacked out crap look. Put some color and chrome back on the bike. Just might sell a few more. Sad too see a manufacturer has a good thing but screws up the rest .
2022 and they still haven't put decent bags on their "bagger."
You'd think they would use the same top opening bag as the Voyager instead of the side opening Nomad. That has been the biggest complaint I've ever heard about these.
I'm 6' 2 with this bike be too small for me
This thing will suit you perfectly! I'm the very same height!
Horrible!!!!!!!!. Por dios. La vieja vn 750 sigue siendo la más hermosa de las vulcan. Saludos de Argentina
