If you are playing botania 1.19.2+, to make the farm work move the mana pools from on top of the mana spreaders to on top of where the final trees spawn. Everything else works the same
in 1.19.2 I had the issue that it lost track of the mana pool through the relay. Fixed it by turning the lens on the spreader to 'Composite Lens: Resistance Warp' and the lens on the prism to 'Composite Lens: Bore Warp'
I'm playing in 1.20 and sadlyy elven spreaders don't respond to red stone signals anymore. I had to use pulse spreaders instead, so I can only do 4 trees at a time. A fix might be putting pulse spreaders under the elven spreaders and then adjusting the timers. I'm too lazy to change it tho. 4 trees is good enough xP
So there's flowers that break the logs and leaves, a flower that uses the leaves for mana, but is there one that can silk touch the leaves to add to the farm for those pesky Valtar leaf block recipes?
hi, thank you so much im just finish this farm and it works perfectly except it does not auto plant the sapling and when it cutting leaves it did not give me the saplings, can you help me figure out what is going on? My version is 1.18.2
The regular ones conceptually work but you will only be able to farm like 1 or 2 trees at best with it. Couldn’t tell you the math offhand but it’s a lot slower
It does generally work for any tree type that’s not acacia or oak (they grow all wonky which screws up the design). The problem is that each tree type has a different height you need to place the force relays on to allow the tree to grow (the wiki has info on what size areas you need for each tree to grow). The farm is calibrated such that it just barely can do 5 birch trees per mana burst, if you have a taller tree you will need to reduce the number of trees it bursts through or upgrade to Gaia mana spreaders (they can shoot the mana bursts further). Spruce, dark oak, and jungle are all definitely possible I just don’t have the info on hand for the exact tweaks required to make it run perfect
did some trial and errors, The elven mana spreader will work the first cycle and destroy the wood, then after it will not work again and unbinds the mana pool.
ok so i figured it out, i had to put a mana spreader in middle of the x at the same level as the top mana relays and bound the spreaders to the mana 2 mana pools by the elven mana spreaders. the mana had no where to go so the game thought it was a bug so it unbound it
@@hazeljoy1 Seems not to be fabric for me at Forge in 19.2 it also needs some target i just put a diluted mana pool between the force relays otherwise it works amazingly thx
Also for anyone curious. The middle mana pool that the Munchdew is bound is actually filling up as well. So even without Endoflames this farm produces extra mana tho not much.
I've done some experiments, to fix the problem all you have to do is move the mana pools from on top of the force relays to floating on top of the final trees, everything else should be the same

what do you mean by where the final trees spawn
where are the final trees??
@@devincita9534 The center of each X
Can u pls help me it still doesn’t work and I don’t understand how I need to move the mana pools and with or without the purple blocks
@hazelthejoy I think I need a picture or a quick video clip on where to move the mana pools to make this work. I’m stuck.
when i saw that intro it just hit me with a wave of nostalgia for old tutorials for minecraft :) keep it up hazel
Super happy to have an easy reference for this tree farm, I'm totally going to use it next time I'm playing with Botania!
omg ive been looking for smth like this for so long and this is surprisingly easy, understandable AND high-quality. Amazing work!!!
Well done Hazel. Great vid and tutorial.
Just getting into botania in a mod pack, so this is great! Thanks Hazel!

Nevermind, It still unbinds itself from the manapool because the relay is in the way. *Sigh*
If you read the pinned comment I have a fix for that version of botania :)

Thank you so much for posting! This tutorial was really helpful and well explained!!!🥰🥰🥰
Enjoy the farm :)
Great tutorial!
Hazel tutorials ❤. And oooooh fairy core Botania base will someday exist lol.
This honestly feels like a mid-late game farm, but it's still really good!
Adding a boreal seed to the hopperhock got it working for me in 1.20

very clear and concise tutorial, thanks

Sadly no, the only Botania way to get leaves is duplicate them with mana, but you only get about 500 leaves per mana pool so it’s quite expensive
tried this but the logs aren't breaking.. can someone help please?! ;-;

Okay this is epic !
Do you need Elven mana spreaders or can it be done with normal ones?
The regular ones conceptually work but you will only be able to farm like 1 or 2 trees at best with it. Couldn’t tell you the math offhand but it’s a lot slower
Would this work for other kinds of trees? Or for something like spruce would you need to make the mana relays taller or would that break it?

@@hazelthejoy I'll go mess around with it some, thanks for replying!
hey im having some troubles, the logs are not getting destroyed at all so its leaving me with stripped trees. please help!!
Are you sure you have the lenses in the right order? What modpack are you playing in?
@@hazelthejoy yes, i am playing the botania in all of fabric 6 modpack. The modpack has 1.19.2 botania on fabric.

dude the logs are not breaking how do i fixxxx
did you figure this out? I have the same issue
it's breaking my force relays under the elven mana spreaders 😭😭 I need help
Is the lens purple or green? It needs to be green
where is item list wth
This farm is actually insane. 8 agricarnations and almost 10-15 minutes and i have just over 3 stacks of wood already.
Endoflames eaten tonight lol.

Not working in 1.19.2. The mana spreaders stop sending out pulses
I’ll look into it and see if there’s a fix
@@hazelthejoy it seems to be working using pulse mana spreaders and efficiency lenses

Hey, Im a bit unsure by where final trees is. I can't seem to place it in a location to make it work.

The pulse just breaks the relay in the way. The lense is green
