My wife and I got to meet him in October 2018 just before his show in Bergen, NJ. He had gotten evacuated from the venue due to a false alarm before the show.. When he saw us taking a picture from a distance he walked over to us. Took pictures with us, signed autographs. I had brought a favorite Christmas CD of his music just in case. I got a little emotional telling him how three generations of our family were fans of his, and some were now gone. He was kind and gracious. He even hugged us when it was time for him to go back inside. He performed for an hour, took a break, then performed another hour. I'll always cherish that meeting.

Remembering beautiful Aunt Marilyn who left suddenly at 65 in 2001. Johnny was her favorite male singer. This song I sing in a non romantic way to her. I miss you so!
