I wonder why such anger on bunkai and katas. Every person who practises martial arts knows that is this is just a part of the path, which allied to solid bases, good understanding of attack/defense/evade movements and daily practise provides us skills and techniques to be used when the occasion requires. Yes, katas does reflets real life situations...but are you trained to respond in such way ? Remember folks: karate is not for you to show others, it is for your innerself. Hilsen/Erik
OMG!...this bunkai made me cringe...why the hell would three attackers attack someone at different times, wait for the 'victim' to turn around?...it doesnt bloody happen!...try using the kata bunkai to defend against one attacker and see what you come up with...i hate 'dissing' other martial arts...but this seriously would not work in a real life situation....
It's beaultiful, and rather impossible!
