what are the better casual options you mentioned?
I have smelled 60+ designer fragrances and as a beginner, that’s an overwhelming number. Prada L’Homme is one of the handful that truly captivated me at first smell. Maybe I was reluctant, unexpecting, I wasn’t buying the hype? But the moment I smelled it, I’m 100% on the bandwagon. Everything everyone said is true. Luxury, high quality, inoffensive, so addictive.
Can you recommend me a fragrance, for and 18 year old… I’m got a couple I’m looking at right now their aqua gio Profumo, ysl y edp, Prada lhomme, and mont blanc explorer
@@onetwo4932 all really good! If I had to choose one, go for Prada L’Homme, it’s ageless, inoffensive, high end, compliment puller. Down the line, pick up Profumo as well, for your evening fragrance. Classy combo.

I am also a beginner and ive tried 16 desinger fragrances and this one was the best. I had to buy the big bottle.

Love to see this beauty get some more attention and hype that it 100% deserves. I recently got it and this smells so classy and elegant and just really beautiful and clean, i will wear this with a lot of pleasure for sure.

@@PayampsCutz get a cheap one for daily use. Constantly buying it finna get expensive. I use one called inseruction ii sport. It’s like $30 and smells exactly like creed Aventus.

Don't want to blind buy a hyped Fragrance only to realise it only works for teenagers :)

This is a master piece. Everyone i know loves this fragrance. Prada is definitely the king of soapy, clean, fresh fragrances. Great great great scent 🔥😎
One of my favorite fragrances. Top 5 for life. Cant live without this one. Believe the hype on this one guys. Clean, fresh, relaxing. A beauty of an iris fragrance.
I have worn many fragrances over the past 5 years of being in this hobby of perfumes. No perfume has ever gotten me so many compliments as Prada l'Homme. Multiple people and even strangers have stopped me to ask "what the hell are you wearing". Not aventus, not bleu de chanel, not la nuit de l'homme, not roja elysium ... none of the big ones (only other ones that got my compliments are Creed GIT and PDM layton). I thought it was purely an inoffensive smell, perfect for work or events (like weddings), but apparently people really like this one :-). Which works for me cause I love it
The BEST classy fragrance for the office - PERIOD!
i just love prada l'homme so much as a signature because of the following:
1. in a sea of people wearing luna rossa carbon, sauvage, eros, and bleu de chanel; this is definitely unique, but unique in a way for people that don't want to stand out too much and they just want to be different enough that doesn't scream, "hey, i'm unique".
2. i don't like extremely loud fragrances. there are some settings that i like them, but i prefer to have my own scent bubble. i don't want to come up to people and have my fragrances punch them in the face. people can smell prada l'homme on you but it's modest and lowkey compared to the usual fragrances in my country.
3. i can wear it anywhere. in the office, outside the house, doesn't really get cloying but it's definitely better indoors. i can wear it to dates, to gatherings, to clubs. it's definitely a dumb reach.
4. it really is a compliment magnet that's not too loud and it's perfect. i always get compliments from it but only when the person is close to me in proximity.
5. it gives off an air of elegance that is hard to match for its price. people who aren't into fragrances might probably not even smell this and think of it as a cologne. you'll just smell really good to people and that's what i want.
6. it's such a comforting scent. i don't wear mine to sleep because i ain't that rich yet lol i just graduated from university but if i had a scent i'd want to go to sleep with it's this one. it really does smell like luxury fresh clean bedsheets.
This is one of my girlfriends favorites. I've been an auto mechanic for almost 10 years now. I wear it to work often. Mostly because it smells so clean and fresh that it doesn't offend or project super far. Its a fantastic buy.

Love Prada L'homme. It's a very high luxurious and classy scent in my humble opinion. I've received compliments with Prada L'homme. Highly recommended!
This is going to perform at best in the spring and especially fall. In the summer I am feeling it around for only 4-5 hours but in the fall ? Complete other story. 10-12 hours easily. The iris in here is very thick and it "blooms" at best in the fall, trust me. Just try it and see it for yourself ! 🙂

@@7860092 That is my favourite chanel fragrance. I have it as well but be careful with it, it can be stingy in the summer. Even if it has mint and it's fresh, don't forget about that heavy vanilla note. Also tonka bean and creamy character.
You can try it for a summer night but don't overspray.
I can’t smell it at all after 3-4 hours
Have this fragrance, I don’t wear it often as much because I am so used to my other ones that I have that smells so great, and then today I decided to wear it and MAN does it give you compliments right away. As soon I was with my girlfriend she could just smell me a mile away 😉👌🏼
I wrote off trying this out for a while, first time I wore it I’m blown away. I loved it. Sure enough, so did the ladies in the office. Such a simple scent but not really, it’s done masterfully.
I got my bottle last week and can and i do mean CAN NOT stop wearing it...this smelllsssss sooooooo gooooood

I just love this scent. Recently became intrigued by fragrances fora few months more and have tried only a handful of the big names, Aventus, Layton, Pegasus & Carlisle by PDM, the full lineup say my local Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom, all amazing scents don’t get me wrong. But I really feel my most confident with this one and Armani Code Absolu. Great review!

I’m thinking of picking up a bottle, since it’s a soapy clean scent would it be able to be used in the gym as well? Just to kinda smell fresh/clean. I’m a trainer as well so not always working out while I’m the gym environment but trying to find something clean smelling, not overbearing for that type of purpose. Was also looking at allure homme sport

I absolutely love it. I wish it was a little stronger. I really don’t get the soapy nearly as much as Prada Amber or Mugler Cologne.

Definitely one to keep in your collection its very unique in my opinion almost awkward in a good way. Intense at first but when it settles is when you get the full effect. Very soapy and powdery like you just got out the shower. Girls love it

Thanks for the review Dallas. I have purchase this one as my comeback into fragrances began. Its easy to like with a clean scent thats non-offensive. The only people who wont like this are the dior homme line fan boys who think any anf every iris fragrance is a rip off of the line.

i love this scent. it does remind me a little of Versace The Dreamer tho
fr? i hated versace the dreamer because it smelled like a public bathroom, like mothballs to me. prada l'homme is my signature though, it's really lowkey and just straight up clean. versace the dreamer smells clean too but in a bathroom cleaner type of way, it's really aggressive in the opening unlike l'homme.
that's just my opinion tho

Too me it’s smells what a western cowboy would smell like coming in off the range and getting a bath at a saloon and having a night out. Has an old vibe but timeless 🤩

Funny how a while back you said "Bod man black" smelled terrible when it smells pretty much almost identical to prada lhomme edt i have both.

This was the first cologne I ever bought when it came out and I loved it didn’t get too many compliments though for some reason, maybe I wasn’t wearing it right🤷♂️

I bought it from Prada store directly. While the base notes have great longevity but I don't smell the opening notes at all. Bad batch? Opening notes already evaporated before I bought it?
I bought a sample size of this and this really is not hitting me the way it's hitting most people. The second I sprayed it, it reminded me of this stuffy old windowless room that my grandmother kept her sewing junk in when I was a kid. The smell reminds me of old school women's powder face makeup from the 1940's, which she also wore, mixed with those tacky little flower-shaped soaps that every grandma used to put in their bathroom that you weren't supposed to use. I get powder and flowers and that's all. I see nothing masculine about this at all and doubt that anyone would wear this if it did not have the Prada name attached to it, especially a straight man. In my opinion it smells like an old woman's face.

I agree with you on this one . Prada Lhomme is masterpiece , but the drydown for me is bad , on the paper tho . I will have to try it on the skin . Do you think that it will be different , that I could still pick up some iris and powder later on whem it dries down on skin ? Thank you !

just got this in 2023 as a Cyber Monday blind buy...thankfully it was only 40 bucks for the 30ml cuz i was a little disappointed 😢 all i got was a powdery vanilla scent. might try Intense or even L'eau but L'homme just felt a little old lady-ish to me. gave me retirement/nursing home vibes. kinda nervous cuz i also ordered Prada Amber so i hope that one lives up to the hype more than L'homme did for me 😕
I have a recent March 2023 batch and I'm disappointed. The longevity is poor and doesn't perform well which is a shame because it smells good at the start

Soapy is not a word that I would use to describe this fragrance. That word gets over used so much. Powdery would be a word I would use to describe this fragrance sophisticated would be a word I would use to describe this fragrance. Versace signature is soapy. JMHO

Hi. How do you compare PRADA L'HOMME with Dior Homme Cologne? Do they smell similar ?
Quite a bit different - The Dior is basically all citrus focused with no iris, and the Prada is soapy and clean with some citrus but not as summer oriented
Would it be redundant to buy this if I already own Prada L'Homme Intense?
I really enjoy the intense version so I know I will like the OG version but very curious if it would be redundant to own both...
It is not redundant because they are complementary. I use the original one during the day and in the intermediate seasons and the intense one especially at night and in cold climates. They are two jewels of modern perfumery

Think the intense version is better and Prada amber is also better than Prada lhomme…. Not knocking it it’s a nice scent but Prada gots better options in the same vein

D&G if the weather is very warm. L'Homme is a better fragrance, but it has quite a sweet drydown that doesn't get along with high heat. L'Homme L'Eau covers that situation!
@@sjnscale thanks for your input. Where I live it’s very hot almost all year round and gets in the 100s in the summer. I’ll look elsewhere for a good summer fragrance. Maybe D & G light blue intense or ADG Profundo
