In her last years she felt lonely, hurt, and unsupported by many after losing her voice….it’s amazing how people change their tune when somebody dies. I loved her unconditionally even in her roughest days the love never stopped…and never will💯
Same here! I rode with her right to the end and I'm STILL riding with her. She lost her voice but she never lost the ability to sing. Even when her voice was in its worst condition, she was outsinging most singers at their best. You have to be a genius singer to sing with no voice!
She started in the modeling industry. She was one of the first black ppl to be on the cover of Seventeen Magazine. She had a pretty successful modeling career before she broke into music.
