    Some of these suggestions are good. However, I would avoid istock at all costs. You will be selling hi-res images of your work with no idea what these people are doing with it. The people could end up selling your work at art markets for example. istock doesn't care- they won't help you out. Avoid microstock royalty-fee sites.

    • @jamiejustask

      ryan you couldnt of said this better i totally agree with you and now with the new IA they can do anything even touch the sky with your work a decent site for anybody to check out and trust me on this i do not get a dime for saying this but if your into photography amd want to sell your work pixpa is nothing short of just awesome folks they give yu a trial period i have used them and didnt have my site built in the trial run and they were just awesome about no problem you take another 15 days no worries and when i got stuck they sent me a video wuickly in their chat (15 minutes was tops i have ever waited) anyway a video like i was saying to exactly what i was doing wrong that said their plans are the cheapest around they deal with WCC Aas their dropshipper and great reviews for these folks iam in canada so iam trying to find a printer here instead of paying the usa prices which would just kill me in the exchange dept but they do give the photographer a decent discount once your hooked up withj them they set their prices and then you do your markup from there and its a great thing to have this but just remember to really take this serious invest in a color spec for your monitor it will make a hugeeee difference people. anyway thanks again for the video here great job

    I know its easier said than done and would all require handwork. I think I might get a scanner and try the prints and a few for stock-photo. I would also checkout/research the Facebook currency you mentioned, who knows if it could be the next bitcoin or worst.
    As for online courses; not a good teacher so am not messing with those ones

    • @michaelohair3715
      @michaelohair3715 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VeryPrivateGallery Very private lady, yes I am an artist, though hardly one you will have heard of. For twenty years, now, following my wife;s death in 2001, I have lived alone , remote in the Ozarks in a house/studio that I built with my own hands, rarely speaking to anyone but a few shop or bank clerks. I have my cats, and now a dog, my computers, and now also an expensive dslr with which to photograph my oil paintings so that sooner or later I can sell some of them in prints, perhaps following your advice. I'm not part of the art world and have never been in any dedicated way I'm not personally acquainted with any artist, and though I've lived and traveled in many ways and places I've been in few galleries and fewer museums. I have no art training. My only experience of a model was staring at her from the doorway of an art class until the door was slammed in my face. Actually, I'm an ex North Sea oilfield diver from the early construction over there , ex merchant seaman from long ago, first sailing on a Norwegian freighter out of Mexico, ex mathematician, ex novelist, and ex many, many other things that I will not bother you with. My intellectual concerns are numerous, primarily in many ancient and classical languages, not in visual art. In painting I just take my pleasure where I'm lucky enough to find it, and the internet shows me that many very talented people are out there, somewhere. I can't sit down with them and discuss their art over coffee, beers, or wine. But I do have the internet. I don't caress my computers but do take good care of them, because they're my only reentry, now, into the big, scary world out there, where lucky for all of us there are brave, smart people like you.
      My days are filled with continuing construction or working on my pickups. The oils just get me through the night, meaning the long night between birth and rebirth. I had been working on a large one of Stella and Zoe, two sisters out of a page of Light, Life, a Rose Window, a still-unfinished third novel. Just a fantasy, I make it up as I go out of what I see directly on the painting surface the way anyone sees images in clouds. I turned off some film noir in the background, tuned you in, and was astonished to hear a voice that didn't use "upspeak." , that parsed sentences with lively imagery and kept the tenses straight. Then your face, your gestures, your brain, and so on. And so I followed you from one of your sites to another. I wanted to keep praising you but didn't want to be effusive.
      Unless I get something online or out in print my art will remain just something on a cave wall, something to be examined by a torch provided it doesn't wind up on a burn pile or in a thrift store. Not bison, bears, or woolly mamoths, to be sure--just the outlines of my hand, the outlines of fingers. For me, it makes a statement; it says, "I was here." The outlines of my hand. I was here. That's good enough. I'll be satisfied to outlive my cats.

    • @VeryPrivateGallery
      @VeryPrivateGallery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael o'hair 👋 I always find mathematicians amazing creatures. Although I went to study business, I couldn’t do any maths still. I can’t use Excel very well, because that’s not how I think. I calculate when I stick a finger in the air and I just roughly know. I think most of people are like me. If you are good with numbers, worked in the oil extraction, live in the nature, you can use that to your advantage. Form them a part of your story.

    • @VeryPrivateGallery
      @VeryPrivateGallery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael o'hair I know a Spanish artist who would integrate ancient Iberia symbols into his large mural works. They look very distinctive. You can also bring your passion of numbers and ancient languages into your paintings.

    • @VeryPrivateGallery
      @VeryPrivateGallery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you definitely need credit card or debit card to do any online business. But you don’t need to order a sample. It’s a good idea to have just one, to adjust the design and color ICC parameters. But you don’t need to order every model.

      Yes Redbubble delivers by themselves. However, technically once you stop working with them, they won't have rights over your work. But it's possible there are some delays in their system.

    • @VeryPrivateGallery
      @VeryPrivateGallery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tt K if you sell something at 10 dollars, you get $1.5 only. You need to have an art style that’s very popular, so you can make a decent living from selling with them.
