I'll be getting one as well. I have the collecta deluxe styracosaurus, which while nice, is too large and the paint job is a bit lazy.

For me personally the battat styra will never be dethroned by any newer model - even if they are more detailed and more accurate.

Very glad to have you back. Styracosaurus is my favorite Ceratopsian and I’ve been holding off on adding one to my collection because I haven’t been in love with the Safari or Papo sculpts (BotM tends to be too big for my display space) but I think this is a must-buy.
Man I JUST told myself I wasn't going to buy anything else for a while after just blowing $300 on Iron Studio's "Clever Girl" in addition to a few PNSO's and a bunch of Jurassic World ones (I might have kind of lost my mind for a bit there, it's addictive) and this is seriously tempting. When I was really little (going to date myself here) in the late 80's or early 90's I had the Dino Riders Styracosaurus and Monoclonius and I LOVED those things. I missed out on the Beasts of the Mesozoic Monoclonius which REALLY breaks my heart because I want it SO badly - it'd feel like my little Dino Riders Monoclonius had been revived and rejuvenated - but at least I got the PNSO Centrosaurus ordered and on the way in March. I feel like I REALLY need a 1:35 scale Albertosaurus to go with it and face off against it but so far no luck with that.
Really have to force myself to stop buying these things for a while - I have student loans to pay and rent to pay and so on - but I know I have to have this guy one of these days! My ONE complaint about PNSO figures (aside from I wish they were 1:15 or 1:20 scale instead of 1:35) is that the posters that come with are, out of necessity granted, folded in the box and that leaves creases on them that makes it very hard to frame them and make them look nice.

So glad to have you back ! Comparing with the classic BATTAT Styracosaurs was an inspired choice. Greg Wenzel’s sculpt still holds up nicely despite being decades old , and remains on of my all time favorite figures ever produced.

I love the paint job on Anthony Styraco!
Anthony is reminiscent of their earlier Spinops Duke... but a step-up in quality again (I still love my PNSO Duke). So good to have another ADR! My Wilson now stands on just the front foot, with the rear now a good 1cm off the ground!
Glad you're back. Was Mattel giving the Hot Wheels and Matchbox collectors the same hassle? I'm afraid that I wouldn't be as forgiving as you are, because I would stop reviewing their products. They don't deserve the free advertising that they are getting on your channel.
You are completely correct. They don't deserve the free advertising And I hope they understand that I'm not looking past this situation for them. I'm looking past it and continuing to promote their products for the viewers of my channel. I know many people come to my channel because I try to be the comprehensive channel and cover everything and as long as I'm able that's what I will continue to do. I always want to make sure that everybody gets to see everything and anything they're interested in so even though Mattel shouldn't have me helping them, I'm not trying to as I'm more so trying to help my viewers.

Great thorough review. I think the paint on this one is a step up over the Centrosaurus. That said, I do think it is really nice that they have given us a Centrosaurus and Styracosaurus (which can go alongside the previous Dinosaur Park Formation hadrosaurids they gave us, which I love so much). I really hope they do a Chasmosaurus as well some day, to complete the famous three ceratopsians from that formation (+ their older Spinops) as they did with the hadrosaurids, and eventually the Dinosaur Park tyrannosaurs as well, such as Gorgosaurus, and Daspletosaurus.

To fix the Wilson t rex dip you need to use hot water then cold water. So then you have to mold the feet back in the right position. I had the same exact problem.
Styracosaurus is my first dinosaur.
The right foot of Wilson is warped just heat it and bend it a bit down and it should stand and I love the Styraco 😊

@@toooldfordinosaurs I'd like to do a review of a Maiasaura model! I hope PNSO release some more key specimens this year, Brachiosaurus and Dilophosaurus especially. And yes, Shonisaurus is a must.

Why does pnso keep trying to break our wallets
That Tyrannosaurus warped because you did not use the stand! The stand is not only because the figure might have balancing issues, but also so the figure does not warp. I see, on your Tyrannosaurus, that the feet DID warp. People, USE YOUR STANDS and PROTECT FROM WARPING! Please. I am just trying to protect your figures from this horrible fate.
